I have been playing this game for quite some time now.
I am so frustrated right now. I do the right thing but something always keeps biting right in the wrong places.
The all started back in Wrath and that ridiculous gear score to run ICC. I never did obtain it.
This recent manifestation has be frustrated to no end.
I managed to unlock a Dark Iron Dwarf. I have absolutely no idea how I did it.
Now I want to unlock all the other Allied Races on Alliance but that darn quest giver is not where he/she is supposed to be and I do not know why. I run into this kind of thing all the time.
Some of my guild members suggested this may be a phasing issue but I do not know anything about such things.
Took my 50 Dark Iron Dwarf to Boralus and did not see the quest giver on that character either. Then I remembered, this Dwarf never quested in BfA. He got to level 50 in Northrend.
I have no idea why this happens nor do I know how I am going to solve it.
Kul Tirans require most of the stormsong questline done, voidelves and lightforged require the you are prepared chieve, and diaper gnomes require you to do the mechgon questline.
there isnt a specific NPC for all of them though. Mecha starts in boralus, KT you gotta do all the stormsong stuff, so just do that questline, and the legion ones you have to do you are now prepared starting with daddy khadgar in new dalaran
So I’m not entirely sure what exactly you are looking for.
the NPC wont give you a quest untill you have done the prereq chieves. the REP is gone but you still need the questlines.
Whats muddled? its the same process as before but without the rep reqs? Somehow people got the idea in their head that allied races were just going to be given out for free.
ya but you shouldnt have to talk to anduin until you are done with the questline. This person is having probs even starting. I suspect its from a fundamental misunderstanding on the changes that were implemented on how ARs were unlocked in prepatch.
Edit - given that the OP seems to have abandoned this thread I’m going to assume they figured out their error and is too embarrassed to post.
