So for professions

I’m currently a scribe in which so far hasn’t really brought in much money was thinking of going tailoring is that a pretty decent money maker.

Your better off going gathering, besides a feel niche things and some trade chat spam you’re not going to make money on professions

Herbalism would be a better money maker. also would pair with your inscription

Honestly the best money makers would be
Enchanting
Alchemy
Jewelcrafting
Pure mat gathering

The first three are good because the items involved in that have the highest consumption rate and in the case of JC you can just go all in on getting raw gems to sell on AH.

With mat gathering it’s a fairly simple choice of Herbalism and Mining since they have the broadest appeal, though skinning can get you some extremely valuable side mats (IE cobrahide, Vorquin horns, thunderscales ect.).

i’ve made decentish money with tailoring making azureweave bolts / unraveling the elemental cloths. i imagine the same could be replicated with inscription and making inks.

Names character Owlchemy, goes inscription.

shakes head in disappointment
