So just want to make sure I understand how these work exactly. How many embellishments are you able to have on your gear? Is it only for specific slots (like weapon, chest, helm etc)? And which gear can you put embellishments on exactly (conquest, crafted, bloody token)?

2 embellishments on crafted gear
Weapons have specific embellishments, some embellishments can go on boots but not rings for example, etc.
Some are saying to craft weapon for embellishments but I’d be shocked if it wasn’t nerfed in PvP and you’ll be behind on gear if/when that happens
I also wanna think they will update the quest to give us a token of something since some specs are being offered “bad” weapons

Yea don’t do what I did, I crafted boots last night thinking I would put precog on them only to realize you cant put precog on boots now and I spent 48k on an embellishment xD

So 2 total embellishments across any/all crafted gear? So if you craft a weapon and use an embellishment on it, does that mean you now have only 1 more embellishment you can use on crafted gear?
Also, I feel like i heard you could place an embellishment on gear bought with bloody tokens, is that totally incorrect?
Correct- and if you do the weapon your other embellishment is kinda set in stone as there’s one that doubles the effect of the weapon one
Yes- wPvP gear operates just like it did in DF. 3 ilvl less than conquest gear but has better stats for certain specs
Bloody token gear very easy to get this expansion tho since spark quests are easier, no more trophies, weekly bloody token cap, etc

Oh, do you know what the weekly cap on how many bloody token’s you can get is?
Also, you said there was item specific embellishments such as ones for the weapon and boots. My question is, are the weapon embellishments strong enough that you’d be foolish not to use up one of your 2 embellishments on it? Or does it not really matter?
A lot of people are saying to craft your weapon because you can’t place an embellishment on your free conq weapon. Assuming the free conquest weapon has the stats you want…is it still worth it to craft the weapon just for the weapon specific embellishment?
I’m still holding out for this being a display bug. Iirc there was a similar thing in BFA and then all the options were available when you actually went to turn in the quest

I don’t think anyone knows. If it works like conquest did in DF, then it’ll go from 1350 this week to 550 next week, but the spark quest gave 1000 this week so maybe it’ll always be 1350
If you use the weapon embellishment that others are using, then you’re probably gimping yourself not using the other embellishment that buffs it. That being said, I’m still hesitant that making the weapon is worth it as them nerfing the embellishment in PvP feels like the smart money bet
This is only relevant if the embellishment isn’t nerfed. It’s personally hard for me to imagine them not nerfing it as it makes the conquest weapons kinda useless (same with the other embellishments)
I think I remember that actually so maybe it is that simple, but some clarification from Blizzard would be appreciated
