Why do people hate streamers so much on this subreddit?
They hate RP-PVPers too if that makes you feel any better. Reddit just has different ideology’s then these forums two different cultures. Same with like 4chan and tumblr ETC

The first comment on your link explains it simply enough. The Classic WoW subreddit is for discussion of Classic WoW. It’s not for your self promotion. The same goes for this board.

I stream , I have a youtube channel with mostly WoW related videos (been a while since I have posted anything though), and Hearthstone and Overwatch ones.
Guess what ? it’s not advertised anywhere on the official WoW forums and never has been.
Once classic launches I may stream my leveling while recording it for my youtube channel but that’s my choice and I do it for fun not profit.

Why do people hate anything on Reddit?
Any number of reasons,some more reasonable than others
People hate them for being online street beggars
People hate them for the fact that less than savory people behave poorly and therefore all of them are garbage.
There are several people on this forum like twinked and fallillana who could tell you at length as to why Streamers are cancerous human garbage who deserve all the hate and threats they get.
At least the forums aren’t as cluttered with streamer hate posts now that the beta has ended.

That and the likely purge that occurred after both streamer hate era’s on the forums, some of said purges will be up starting this month. so be prepared for another era of streamer hate followed by another purge for the foreseeable future.
