So, doesn't it bother you that many of the loyal soldiers of the Horde that participated in the War of Thorns are still around, you know, the Horde?

We just… Forgave them, I mean, all in all, Tyrande is probably the sanest person in the Alliance, I would be pissed off like that too if the people that killed the majority of my race were given political immunity because “Well, I didn’t know she was evil”.

Sorry, been watching the Warbringers cinematics again and you know, Dealin was right, there is no peace with the Horde, sooner or later it always turn into war.

Alliance got hit with the stupid bat. It started during seige of orgrimmar. Instead of hanging back to sweep the horde once their civil war was over, they joined together…

Well, Varian never got the chance to keep his promise that if the Horde was ever to act like animals they would be put down like animals.

Instead he got disenchanted by Gul’Dan.

Genn is the sanest person in the Alliance. He’s not running off to try to continue the war but he also understands the moment the Horde sees an opportunity, no peace treaty is going to stop them.

Though the reality is that the mechanics of the game more or less demand that we never make good on Varian’s threat. Unless they decide to get rid of factions entirely, they’re not going to remove a playable faction.

It was unfortunately always an empty threat because of that, even if Varian didn’t get disenchanted.

What bothers me is that Tyrande is still around. That big a fire and still a miss.

No he should have nevee been there, he should have done the smart thing while the horde was fighting strat wiping out horde outer fringe forces. When they defear Garrosh, swoop in with the full force of the Alliance and destroy the weaken horde.

It would be like what the Arabic empire did after the Byzantine Romans exhausted their forces against the resurgent Persians. Both were power houses keeping Mohammed Arabics in check at the time. When they went to war and the persian were defeated. Both sides were to weak to put up a fight against the third stronger army and was sweep away.

Alliance needed to do that for soo.

No, I understand that, it’s more of a what if situation. It’s not like the Alliance is much better either, sure, stopping Sylvannas from becoming pretty much immortal and making the the Vrykul withdraw from the Legionfall Campaign was a good call, but it was made under an attack of passion and betrayal by Genn. But even then, you know, maybe once WoW is over and we get our “resolution comic” we have the chance of that happening >.>

Even if they ended WoW I doubt they’d actually dismantle the Horde.

Though at this point, I’m more bothered by that they make us keep doing this song and dance where the Horde and Alliance go back to hating each other but every other expansion we get a storyline where we need to put aside our differences and work together.

They need to decide if they want war or if they want peace. Just pick one and stick with it. The story is all over the place right now.

Hopefully now that the Horde dictatorship model is over this was the last time. At least while Baine and Lorthemar still live that is.

Does it not bother the Alliance that they let a butch of void elves into their fold that could easily fall victim to the void and be the next threat to Azeroth?

I see them as a much bigger issue then the Horde members that were part of a tree burning…

I’m pretty sure lorewise, Anduin is the only one that actively trust them. Their introduction makes it very clear that everyone feels uneasy around them.

(Also, I’m pretty sure only the first generation void elves should be watched for since they are pretty much half-void ethereal. The rest are more like shadow priest minus the cultist part and more like mages studying a new school of magic that is just a lot more corruptive and addicting.)

Nathanos and Gallywix ran away which makes me believe the horde are in the clear. I’m not really sure who we’re pointing at now.

Don’t really care what the alliance does, didn’t ask for your forgiveness either.

Let’s just sweep the whole tree burning under the same rug alliance atrocities are under.

I mean, those are the commanders, I am talking about lieutenants and soldiers that were cheering about destroying the World Tree and a few years later they were happily standing side-by-side with the Alliance to retake Ogrimmar from Sylvannas.

If that’s your defense for the Void Elves, then the Horde have little to worry about with the Tree Burners.

Both sides allowed Warlocks to hang around for years despite the constant corruption and turning into demons they frequently do. It seems neither side is all that smart about this sort of thing.

Though the Priests and Paladins in the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind certainly seem to hate my Void Elf.

I mean, yeah, technically they are a handful of blood elf researchers. The main problem to deal with would be Alleria. The second generation of void elves, the ones that maintained their normal skin color that you can see in Telogrous Rift seem to be pretty normal overall.

War of Thorns was a nothing burger. Can we stop acting like it mattered?

While this is true, don’t the Void elves actively hear the whispers of the void? Warlocks only become dangerous when they are pretty evil to begin with…
