So disillusioned with all of it

So it’s not just me!!! This has been a mess. Sometimes he tanks stuff, sometimes he’ll DPS, but most of the time, he just stands there like an idiot.

It’s not very cohesive. After a few days I’m still not sure of my goal. I know looting stuff and killing rares is a good thing.

The zone is beautiful, but it’s not built around a story, it’s built around a system. Also, I need to leave to make a living as there’s only one kind of herb here.

I really want to love it, as I like the art and the creatures, but I get a feeling they aren’t going to tell much story.

It’s actually a bit worse than you describe. All this apparently took them 8-9 months to put together?? And a zone this size only got 2-3 WQs in all that time?

…seems like the whole thing (minus the raid) could’ve been “done” in 4-5 months tops tbh :joy:

Presumably the actual map already existed for a while, then they simply copy-pasted the usual Torghast mobs and sprinkled in the “native” Zereth Mortis NPCs as well. Then design the 2-3 WQs and ship it.

I mean, my goodness, they slapped together Broken Shore in like 3 months and that place had WQs/content/activities galore :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

For the (lack of) content present in the zone, they didn’t need 9 months…

Mine goes like this. Eheheherm…

In the beginning… I had a guide we raided then the drought and it was lost. I was forced to pug.

Then i had a guide we raided then the drought and blizzard debacles ensued and it died. I was forced to pug.

Now I am finally in a guid that goes on my off nights… I hope to god it will last…

Oh and fart cloud arthas gone with the wind.

The end of SL.

Yup, i do the bare minimum and then log off, i have zero alts this expansion.

I just wanted to touch base with you on the subject of this type of thread, i’m not going to point the finger at anyone in particular but some people around here spend an awful lot of their time in other people’s feedback/complaint threads arguing with the OP, taking Blizzard’s side and generally going against the person doing the complaining.

I agree with the general sentiment of this discussion and would just like to remind people that sometimes you yourself will have some feedback or a complaint and perhaps it would be nice to reflect on how nice it is to give it without having certain individuals telling you that your arguments or concerns have no merit.

Just some food for thought, once again i agree with the sentiment of this discussion, i just think that dialogue is important but there doesn’t always need to be someone playing devil’s advocate

Not yet. I haven’t been able to play much for a long time now. I’m trying to get that frog mount through the quests, so I try to log in for at least a few minutes each day lately. Maybe after I get the mount I’ll feel like you. I like simple goals, and it does seem like ZM might be a tad complex (I’ve mostly been ignoring a lot of what’s going on there).

Yeah, me too. I just thought it was worth mentioning that’s all lol

And in all that time… POCO STILL DOESN’T WORK CORRECTLY.

Yeah… I tried that yesterday. I gave someone an answer about something (no emotion or opinion involved, just very calm and nice) and suddenly got jumped on by a couple of others who started insulting me and claiming that I was lying. Weirdest thing ever.

But… someone I had an argument with last night ended up in a very nice conversation today. We didn’t agree, but we were at least civil about it.

I’m trying! LOL

That’s the best any of us can do

You’re not alone. I barely touch ZM and I’m a completionist.

I just feel like I need to wait a few weeks before I can really sink my teeth into the zone.

Thank you for keeping me aware and I’ll try to do better. Sometimes, my grumpy butt needs the reminders. :purple_heart:

That’s an issue I have, as well. I see all of this stuff around that I could get to if I swapped Covenants, because it’s the only workaround until we get flying, but… why show us rares and treasures we’re not meant to get to yet, if we can’t really get there without a workaround? Why can’t they be added later or just not have it all timegated?
