So DH or BM DPS?

BM is fun for me you can run fast and kite with some talents and freeze play dead and have a pet that can hold aggro for a bet.
DH are heavy AOE damage playstyle and I love people pulling big and just smash it down, you can fly without pathfinder too!!
so idk which to pick if anyone got any idea

I have no idea why I thought you meant brew master monk DPS… I forgot BM hunter was even a thing.

I mean your comparing a melee spec to a ranged spec. So they will be extremely different.

Honestly their both super easy to play, I only say bm because ranged feels easier than melee to me.

Edit: also gliding is not flying. Demon hunters cannot fly.

I hate these posts because people never give you a goal of what they want out of the class.

Do you want to just raid? do you want to just M+? Do you want to just pvp? are you just looking for a fun playstyle?

Can’t give you advice if I don’t know the specifics other than A or B.

They are both amazing. DH does great damage. BM does really good damage with a pet to tank for you. I can kill tougher mobs with my BM due to the pet tank and heals.

They both have their advantages, but I really can’t think of any disadvantages with either of them. They are both my top 2 characters.

The real question for me is Havoc or Vengeance. My DH is next in line to be leveled and I have no clue which spec to take him as… I think tank’s demon form looks so much cooler and I generally have enjoyed it more but I see the DPS DH just destroy things this xpac.

I didn’t read the rest of this thread, so just gonna say, unless you are heavily invested in some end-game content , there are pros and cons for both, otherwise… play both. It’s super easy to get things done.

DH does everything better then Bm ever will. AOE DPS is off the charts, single target is crazy high. Were really powerful in PVP. We can also tank.

BM is “ok” but not god mode like DH is. You just fall over and die in PVP once turtle is down, Dhs can survive way better the hunters. PVE is “ok” but nowhere near DH level.

I dont like to raid that much ( but I just do like 1-2 bosses every 2 weeks or so for fun ) so raiding not my thing wastes too much time.
yes I like to do alot M+ and dungeons.
and pvp I always do it toward end of expansion when all content is kinda out and done.

For what it counts if ya go bm ya have to put up with blizz’s pet ai… your pets will get stuck in/on random things/places a lot
