Like im a little confused there shouldnt the archon be able to wipe the floor with devos yet we are saving the Archon from Devos? Felt like the lore dint make sense there…
The Forsworn becoming as powerful as they did, as quickly as they did, doesn’t make sense to start. Still, I bet Blizzard didn’t bank on them being seen as sympathetic by the player base.

I was confused throughout the Spires of Ascension dungeon. Was there a part during the questing where Devos took over that area? I remember Uther made a little cameo when we were checking bells (I think they were bells?), is that when the dungeon takes place?

What happened with Devo’s is the same thing that happened with Sylvanas. They got hyped up on that Jailor Juice. I should trademark that

The Kyrian storyline is a joke, its ridiculous and total clown shoes even without bringing up Devos and the Foresworn.
The Kyrian are actually 100% the problem right now, they are literally feeding the Maw and the Jailer because they REFUSE to stop ferrying souls to the shadow lands and they REFUSE to not just drop them off above the unconscious Arbiter instead of just finding a temporary solution until its fixed or just stopping the ferrying altogether. They know this too, a character asks an acended paragon during Kyrian chapter 3 after witnessing this happen and participating in it unknowingly and the answer she gets is “shut up though, this is the path.”

True, but there comes a level of power no amount of strategy can overcome.
The Archon should be at that level, on account of being basically a demigod.
A fight between the Archon and Devos should turn out pretty much like what happened with Renathal and Denathrius, IMHO. Maybe a bit less, considering Denathrius was juiced up in Anima, but the point still stands.

I just assumed it was the whole “dark side gives you extra leet powers” trope which is why she can fight off the Archon.
The Archon is the first of her kind. Nothing says she would be better Strength wise, especially since they have a drought of Anima thanks to Sire Denathrius. The foresworn are also empowered by the maw.
