So Delvers, did you do that +2 Mythic key?

I was initially intending to yolo it, but I did not.

I subconsciously chickened out.

If Blizz’s intention was to funnel Delvers into M+, I’m wondering if that worked on any level?

So how about you, did you chicken out too?

That’s awesome, hadn’t expected folks to have a good time with it.

Did you time it?

I thought they did it to get people to queue for M+ again cause all the toxic 1%ers forced everyone else out.

I haven’t used mine, I really don’t care about pushing keys, and I even less care to group with the type of people who typically only do.

I don’t see it as an intention to funnel delvers into M+, I see it more as a means of giving players who either, might not be aware of M+ AND/OR those who don’t think they’re good enough to do M+, an intro to something else in the game.

It seems, in general, a concept that is difficult for seasoned players (of any game) to grasp. The fact that there are always new players, there are always tons of players who do not rely on resources outside of the game itself to know what they can or should do. For those people alone, this was a useful gambit.

It’s not forcing anyone’s hand, it’s reminding you it’s there and encouraging you to try something different.

I did not on my warlock or my priest. My lock’s key died last week. My priest’s will die on Tuesday. Both were +2 cinderbrew.

Honest question but why not try it? No one ever yells at someone in a lower key at all for not knowing all of the things in a dungeon and the timer is pretty dang forgiving.

You actually can meet some cool people doing m+, i would just be upfront about not knowing all of the mechanics and usually someone will explain bosses before pull.

Don’t be afraid of the timer or the sweaty rumors, it’s really not that bad.

No chickening out to it.
I just don’t do mythics.
Too much stress!

I actually did do a +2 on my little druid alt, it was the first time i had healed since Cata i believe, it was super stressful and it will never happen again lol

Nope, and after deleting the quest doodad last week along with the quest, got it pushed again this week - so while I was like ‘just ignore it’ last week, this week I’m annoyed.

Oh no, that’s no fun.

I can imagine it being rough as a healer, trying to keep a bunch of M+ noobs alive.

Yeah, i healed the tank and the rest of the group perfectly fine so far as normal damage was concerned, but people ignored mechanics, died, and then i could feel them looking at me and blaming me for not saving them :joy:

Chicken out? No. Any desire to do it? Also no. Not last week and not this week when it popped again.

As for why…1. Not interested in racing thru a dungeon. 2. Not interested in playing the get a group together game.

For anyone who went for it: great! Hope you had a fun.

I still have no idea what the ilvl requirements for various levels of mythic+ are so no, not yet.

I agree with this actually, I had similar thoughts, being that the key was a clue that you’re are in fact good enough to try this.

And yet I still did not.

Nope, not interested.

Nope, I have not.

Because while I love Holy Priest, I’m not happy with its current iteration to care about dong keys. I’m not desperate for 15 extra Gilded to have an IO score by my name to show I only peaked at 200 or w/e it is. If I participate in an endgame pillar I’d like to get the most out of it which is KSH or at least KSL.

But considering Blizzard lousy class design I’m just content with delves and nothing else as far as endgame options go.
