So Delaryn Summermoon

Damn though, I knew Sylvanas was vindictive and evil but that was uncalled for. Second I realized this was the same elf from the cinematic I saw in other people’s let’s plays I was like…aight I’mma be needlessly difficult and not kill Sira and watch Nathanos deal with Mary-Sue power couple on his own. Seriously if she’s going to pull that kind of schoolyard bull she can at least do it herself in person rather than wasting the PCs time with it.

I don’t see the issue. It’d be better for all of Azeroth for us to help evolve all of our sentients into Undeath.

That’s not evolution that’s stagnation. The only reason we let the Forsaken get away with it is cause it’s a useful way to get free shock troops…so don’t even think about it Mr Knight Of The Ebon Blade >:(

To be fair, you have to accept being forsaken of your own free will with the one canonical exception of derek proudmoore, and the reason she did accept such is the opinion that her and even Tyrande share, that Elune abandoned them.

True but Sylvanas could have let dead night elves lie. She tells Nathanos to tell us to search out this night elf specifically…seems pretty shifty.

It was mainly because Delaryn reminded Sylvanas of who she was prior to the third war. That was deliberate on blizzards end. Making Delaryn be the night elf version of Sylvanas defending her home and modern day Sylvanas being equivalent to Arthas.

Honestly this parallel would’ve been better if Delaryn was forced to be a forsaken. Only to break free when Sylvanas buggers off after she played herself in that Mak’gora.

If Sylvanas didn’t res Delaryn, she would’ve been sent to the Maw.

Yeah… in hindsight the undead nelves almost certainly signed up with Sylvanas to escape super-hell.

Really can’t blame them at that point.

But I sure as hell can blame the writers. :upside_down_face:

I tried really hard not to help Nathanos. I just ran in circles where you’re supposed to basically defeat the enemies for him. It wouldn’t let me :frowning:

Oh… #&*^. You think maybe they died and saw the same black void Sylvanas did and was like NOPE ANYTHING BUT THAT?

No wonder they think Elune abandoned them :sob: That’s legitimately heartbreaking.

This is why my hate for the writers is only intensified by Shadowlands. :upside_down_face:

Thanks, guys! Not only is 90% of my character’s race slaughtered, but they all go to super-hell and wonder where the hell their goddess is to protect them from it.

Evil person does evil things. This and more on the 6 o’clock news.

The whole undead night elf thing was an absolute joke to begin with and honestly just more of the usual distasteful story direction

Out of all the cosmic domains out there, life is particularly vulnerable to the Void domain. The domain that nearly all of the other domains fear more than almost anything else, doesn’t matter if it is Arcane, Fel, Nature, or Light. They all seem to fear the overwhelming and vast corruptive nature of the Void.

But the Void? They fear Death. They realize we are true enemy, the thing that is inexorably swallowing the rest of existence and happens to be more resilient and resistant to their particular brand of corruption than almost anything else.

We’re the last best defense against the Void.

Life is fleeting. Undeath is eternal.

Life is a cycle, Undeath is neither life nor death…it’s a break in the cycle…go move on and give your Anima to the Shadowlands already :stuck_out_tongue:

The Children and Starving Humans Foundation direly needs your contribution Heroes of Azeroth! Just go to Oribos, and make all checks out to Sylvanas Windrunner, (please do not forget to put the foundation’s acronym in the memo).

The Children And Starving Humans you will help, thank you.

I’d like to see Sylvanas get a slice of humble pie at some point.

it’s where she belongs for being a traitor.

I bet she met the jailer who gave her an ultimatum: help Sylvanas or be tortured by him forever.

Why just a slice? Give that psycho the whole damn desert cart.

I’m still waiting on an actual REASON why Teldrassil had to burn.
