Yeah. But at least it’s all obvious what to do with it and most of it is in the currency tab.
SL had even more currencies, half of them were inventory items, and they were for like obscure NPCs just out and about.

I tend to prefer fishing instead of farming.
I’m refusing to get into the grinds seriously, other than accumulating +knowledge points.

People do all that a lot, huh? I do some of that, some times…but, I mostly just stand around talking to people and sometimes, well…a lot of times roleplaying.

Most of that currency is optional so…
Only need to raid and do your M+ weeklies if you care about gear.
I don’t farm for any of this. I just get it passively from doing stuff I enjoy.

Very much that. I don’t pay any attention to currencies these days. I’ll do whatever content is fun, and whatever I get while doing said content is what I get.
It’s much nicer, in my opinion, not feeling like you MUST farm A, B, and C for the week and accomplish X, Y, and Z after it.

And Dragonflight had a bunch of items that were used as currency on top of the Dragon Isles Supplies. The sinews, tufts of mammoth fur, etc etc.
The only inventory bloat this time around is all the damned ranks on crafting materials.
Yeah it was the same during DF there was so many currencies for everything I lost track of it… granted I still don’t understand how the system fully works still but these dev’s are making some weird decisions from professions to this many currencies it’s strange.
It’s quite a bit, admittedly. However, the nice thing about it is that I don’t feel forced to farm/grind it. Everything I’ve accumulated thus far has just been from me bebop’ing around doing my thing.

It’s had a different effect on me. There is so much, it killed my desire to even care about a lot of things…
I opened up my currency tab, sighed at it, then went to farm mog. LOL
