I ran Iron Docks on Mythic, Heroic and Normal once each today. Tried to run on Normal a second time and was locked out.
So I moved on to Skyreach immediately and same thing happened. Ran Mythic, Heroic and Normal once each. Tried Normal a second time and was locked out.
Is this standard now? Will I run into this every dungeon? Tried Googling first and saw conflicting answers: 30 instances per day, or 10 per hour, etc. What are the rules?
Thanks!
did you try resetting instance?

…no. facepalm
Thanks so much for your response, btw. It’s been a loooong time since I ran dungeons like this.
You need to reset the instance if you want to run it again.
I’m not sure if Heroic still has the daily and Mythic the weekly loot lockout for older content, but you should be able to run Normal up to 10 times an hour.

I believe you can only run 5 instances of any type per hour. At least that is how it used to be.
Edit: it is 10? I didn’t know that.
They bumped it up to 10 a while back IIRC.
It’s 10 per hour per server. So you can run it 10 times within 60 minutes on characters on one server. Then if you hit the cap before the hour is up, you can switch to characters on another server and they have a fresh clock (so to speak).

Mythic dungeons have a weekly lockout. Heroic dungeons have a daily lockout.
You can run a heroic or normal raid multiple times in a lockout, but you need to do it as part of a group with a different raid leader, and you can only get loot from bosses you have not killed during that lockout.
Once you have killed a mythic boss, you are locked to the entire instance. If you soloed it yourself, you can go back and kill bosses you skipped. If you went with a group and they killed other bosses, you’re locked to those bosses for the week. If you went with a group that broke up, you can start your own group to complete the bosses you did not kill, provided someone else hasn’t done this already who was also part of that original group.
