So confused about BfA intro

I’m trying to follow the story.
I just completed the Battle of Lordaeron scenario.
The next step is the quest: Mission Statement (Talanji rescue scenario), which will take me to Zandalar that I understand.

What I am confused of is there should be 3 more quests before going to Zandalar according to wowhead.

  1. A Dying world
  2. The Heart of Azeroth
  3. Infusing the Heart

I read that there’s an NPC (Earthen Guardian) outside the Great Seal in Dazar’alor that will give me the quest: A Dying World to speak to Magni Bronzebeard, which leads to the other 2 quests: The Heart of Azeroth & Infusing the Heart.
which I am guessing is where the game introduces Azerite… And shouldn’t this whole Magni thing happen before I go to Zandalar according to the BfA intro achievement and wowhead?

And why was there an Azerite war machine in Battle of Lordaeron? Or was it introduced in the end of Legion?

I must have missed a lot of pieces, anyone familiar with the correct timeline of things? And what the correct order to complete the introduction questline?

Pretty sure you do the intro first i think and later the Magni stuff

They changed the HoA to be acquired at level 50.

Players who reach level 50 will once again receive the quest, “ A Dying World”, and will be directed to Magni Bronzebeard in Silithus to obtain their Heart of Azeroth.

BoL scenario and Heart of Azeorth at lvl 50? Well, I missed that change… Disregard me I guess.

Azerite was introduced because Sargeras stabs the planet with his sword at the end of BFA. It becomes a “precious resource” that can be turned into weapons. So, both sides fight over it. The horde burns Teldrassil, the night elf tree… The alliance retaliates and attacks Lordaeron. These battles happen prior to Zandalar/Kul Tiras.

Going to Magni introduces you to the Heart of Azeroth. If you played Legion, it was basically the BFA version of your artifact weapon.

I am lv 50 now, because the game won’t let me play BoL scenario unless I’m lv50. I don’t see any popups right now, I am assuming this quest will pop as soon as I arrive zandalar?

Okay, so Magni will summon me during the Talanji rescue scenario?

Not sure. If it doesn’t, I’d log out and back in. Pop up quests are notorious for such behavior.

It always happened after for me. But, apparently, it looks like things changed after the level squish? So, I guess I’m not that much help for you.

I leveled so many alts during BFA, that’s how I recall it during that time. But, it seems things may of changed.

Ah, so I am safe to progress to Zandalar, and I will get the quest once I am there? If not, just relog, I am guessing?

I deleted that post because after thinking about it I realized I had only run that scenario once and couldn’t be sure how it would work for someone in your position.
