That’s why I just don’t do them. I was fully heroic geared for a long time and really could have pushed mythics but it just seems like such a waste of time.
Might as well play skyrim or brush my cat than do the highest level of content, just for it to be on par with the lowest
Sorry let me be specific. If me and my guildies ran mythic it would be nice to at least go straight into normal/heroics with the hard work and gear acquired from the previous raid. Not go oh look we are as geared as LFR.

There’s nothing stopping you from going straight into N/H Amirdrassil from Mythic Aberrus.
What do you think all the first- and second-week CE guilds are going to do?

I thought their goal was if you don’t normally do LFR you shouldn’t be incentivized to do LFR. Now pretty much everyone can find upgrades in LFR.
You can go straight into Normal. The item level of Normal starts at 13 levels above 441; so it’s possible.

Mythic guilds will go straight into heroic though….
I don’t know why, but it’s always funny when “think of the mythic raiders!!” comes from people that have never done it.

Sigh. Theres always one. Actually buddy i used to raid heroic which i guess was the mythic equivalent back then, and i can see from your varied raid history that you started to raid around the time i stopped, but lets not derail this discussion with being petty hey. It was more a curiosity and as i havent properly raided with a guild in a long time, due to RL, job and having kids i was more curious if this has been the norm in other raid tiers recently.
No we won’t. Normal first for tier and trinkets to see what drops and to funnel those items. A few normal runs then rinse repeat on heroic.
Hiya. Gear is a means to an end in the current patch and a minor one going into the next patch.
Doing a quick normal clear was understood, I meant mythic guilds aren’t going to be waiting around for a few weeks gearing up normal before starting heroic.
Normal and heroic will be cleared week 1.
That tends to be how things go when you have a huge ilvl jump like 39 between patches
