So cobalt assembly and into the storm

Both of these are a MASSIVE undertaking to complete in their current state, with both being an issue of you pretty much need to be the only one in the area killing the mobs. Given if you aren’t able to join or successfully form a group in the area, it makes it an extremely long grind to do. In which I am just sitting here questioning whether its worth the effort or not at this point. I have 1 out of the 16 into the storm achievements done, and I still have to kill roughly 1,300 mobs that are buffed by the storm. Which isn’t even buffing all the mobs in the entire area, which seems to be felt the worst in the waking shores.

Please consider nerfing the amount of mobs needed down to 100 per, that to me would be more reasonable. Given 200 per, or 1,600 total is an insane amount honestly, let alone the RNG bull that is the cobalt assembly rep which I think needs a small nerf to make a bit more reasonable too. With the latter being to buff the mob spawn rate, and spread out more mobs that are buffed by the storm so it counts towards the achievement. As essentially having it as primarily elites and some non elite mobs just isn’t cutting it.

You have MONTHS to get this done. You’ve had more than a year to start. There’s no need to get this done this very week.

There’s not a time limit on this one.

Sometimes things can just take time to do and it’ll be alright.

I think the elementals and primalists unique to the storm should count towards the achieve as well.

Cobalt assembly was really brutal as well. Especially because u feel really slow at max powers. I will say though. Those packs of arcane elementals with the wispy things are super good for rep. Almost always got like 100 from them.

Into the Storm isn’t too bad in certain areas. Azure Span is easy mode for any storm

However the Waking Shores ones are particularly bad, especially the one over near Sabellioon and Wrathion

I’ll be honest, once I found this out I pretty much gave up on the real grindy achievements. I’ll just get to them in a lull sometime when there’s no competition and I can just murder everything. Or, maybe I’ll forget and just never get around to it.

This is kinda proof of my reasoning for why I think time-limited things are actually good for the game.

Still think it’d be neat if there were at least a FOS title for it like we got Veilstrider.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they do a title or something for a FoS, and leave the mount around.

I am not a fan of the cobalt assembly, but it seems the inscription recipe has risen up my todo list, so it looks like I’m dabbling with it again to see if I have the patience to repeat the grind.

My stance is that I would rather not spend essentially 12+ hours played working on into the storm. I got lucky just now for the waking shores one by discovering a hyper spawn in the location that the current storm is in, so it only took me 30 minutes to do. Yet when I think back to when one of the storms was on the citadel area, it was a complete mess due to the mob density being so thin for the ones that counted towards the achievement.

I am fortunate I will say with the cobalt assembly to have done the bulk of it pre-nerf, before they nerfed the gains and etc. for the area. Yet still going from high to max is a massive headache with the nerfs they did a couple years ago.

In all honestly with the amount of work required they should have given it the SL’s treatment, to where its a FoS if you complete it before War that grants a title, and then a normal achievement that grants the mount. This one to me is proving to be far more work than back from the beyond, given with back from the beyond I felt you had far more agency over the achievements in comparison to A world awoken.
