Not hard, I would say tedious though.
When questing just grab 4 or 5 mobs and kill them and move to the next pack. Itâs easy peasy.
Druid is such a fun class in classic tho. Masters of wpvp forsure.
Classic WoW was never about the difficulty. Anyone touting that never played Classic and were talking out of their butt.
It was and always will be about the social aspect of the game that encourages more collective efforts.
i dont remember vanilla wow being particularly hard ; it just took a lot more time to do anything.

You canât, but thatâs kind of beside the point. The mobs are spaced out and tuned for you to kill one at a time.
So instead of killing tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of trash packs, you kill tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of mobs.
Itâs more tedious because it takes longer to level up in classic, because the xp bar fills up more slowly.
Have you been following the classic forums? The community there is worse than the community in retail. Itâs mind-boggling.
World content? Yes, much harder than retail.
Instance content? Um⊠no⊠like not even close.
Hard is not the right word, the most challenging aspect (for me) is knowing the quests and spending the multitude of hours running slowly from point to point.
Yes itâs true that you canât pull as many mobs when soloing but itâs equally true that killing two mobs, stopping to eat/drink, rinse & repeat is not that fun.
Nah its easy. I was hoping blizzard would take wow to the next level like adding higher difficulties for questions and dungeons but alas, still on wheels. Mythic raiding is nice though, very punishing for mistakes.
You heard wrong. A team of forty level 58 gorillas could clear Molten Core in leveling greens.
Mythic Kilâjaeden, Mythic Uuânat, and most guys seeing Alexstrasza for the first time would beg to differ.
Itâs false. Itâs just them remembering when Classic wasnât a completely solved game and when people were very bad at the game back in 2004-2005.
Lets see my classic hunter is target something, send in pet, hit serpent sting then sit back for 20sec or so while pet, poison dot and auto shot kill target. Loot, skin it if applicable, find next target.
Like Blizzard, a lot of players confuse tedium with difficulty. Therein lies the debate.
Mythic Skitra is easier than most Normal bosses. The literal only reason why it qualifies as a Mythic boss is because the thing drops 475 loot when killed. The boss is hilariously undertuned. The cheese strat makes it go from the easiest boss in the raid by far to still the easiest boss in the raid by a tiny bit further.

There was no great mechanical skill to Classic/Vanilla wow, if anything it was stupid baby basic. However everything just took forever to do, and the amount of player power you had was just lower overall.
But to claim it was harder, imho is inaccurate, it just took longer to actually do -anything- and for some reason people seem to think somethinâ taking a while to do, means itâs hard⊠when really it just isnât.
It really depends on how deep into the classic wow content youâre getting into and what you play with who. Difficulty will vary. Itâs definitely way harder with people who donât know what theyâre doing vs people who do. It really depends on what content youâre talking about and how youâre playing it. You can make it harder on yourself or easier depending on the knowledge youâre working with.
VS current expansions it is definitely way harder to level up.
We have a ton of information of how to min max how we play classic so researching the content gives a lot of power to players with experience

Hard? How would it be hard? Some aspects of pve require a group. Like the ziggurat in the Hinterlands or the or Tyrâs Hand in EPL.
Leveling and gearing as slower but not more difficilt.
None of this really makes it hard more so as it makes it different.
Maybe for you as a warrior that is your experience. But as a paladin you are exclude from a lot of things and last on the list for everything. Rules for thee but not for me mind set over there.
Mechanically its more simplistic. But also worth noting that the game is in a state thatâs tuned for Naxx. So obviously MC/BWL are going to be a joke.
Leveling appears harder because mob density is much higher, mobs run away and aggro more, and I believe the aggro radius is higher than retail overall.
