No.
The. People will find a works around to Gdkps lol
Well considering the only other good shoulders was the Mantle of Thieves and it was hundreds of gold for some reason. Sure you could of paid 80g for bristle shoulders.
Also 50g isnt alot, I mean you get more than 50g from quests at 25 even if you quest to 25. Also the stats on it just increase your farming especially as a feral druid who made insane amounts of gold selling WC drops.
Normally I’d agree but this specifcally no.
it was hundreds of gold for some reason.
because it only drops from the higher level RFK mobs which were barely being killed, the only reason to kill them at this level was specifically to get that BOE or other world drops, and you needed a group.
Reported for pro-GDKP talk.
Is not Main spec if Youre going to sell Your item
In a letter of the law sense I would argue this is 100% legal. The loot rules for the run were MS/OS. The player with the highest roll was awarded the item, therefore the item was not “awarded in exchange for gold”. (The rules don’t state what I can or cannot do with an item I’ve won.)
In a practical sense this will probably be banned because you could just have everyone /roll and give the item to the highest roller…then force the “winner” to sell the item to the highest gold bidder, effectively turning the run in to GDKP.
(And this will probably not be a popular idea, but I personally wish that a GDKP ban was also coming with the ability to choose personal loot. As a frequent raid leader, GDKPs dodged the very thorny issue of “who can roll on this item” and I would love to just set loot to ‘personal’ and not have to litigate that. This will never happen due to technical reasons and also because personal loot is not popular with the classic crowd.)
try it out later this week
might win a nice vacay
I’m not talkin BOE’s, though that may have happened way way back in the day too. After 18 years, can’t recall any specific incident involving a boe.
What happens when a blue item drops (BOE) in a dungeon and you win since everyone in the party agrees all roll need on boe’s and the one player that really wants it for an alt says, hey - ill give you x gold for the boe? If you take it, thats nearly the same thing as putting it on the aution house and selling it (minus the auction house cut)…
I know. I’m saying anytime an item, especially a BoE, was MLed to someone. They were required to equip it or be kicked. – At least that’s been my experience when I started raiding in OG TBC up through Cata; then Personal Loot was a thing in MoP onwards so the whole ‘equip or be kicked’ died out.
With the BoP stuff, it was just something you did because it was bound to you; mostly just done to show you did actually need it, and weren’t just being greedy.
