That was probably the most unique thing in the game and it appears gone. No reason to play monk now, am I right

Well let’s hope it is a bug and not intentional. Being able to spec change mid air and re mount was my favorite thing about monks.

If it’s intentional that sucks. Cloud fishing was my jam. If this is a purposeful change then it better at least become a fully fledged instant cast ‘flight form.’ Because its little quirks were what made if fun and flavorful.

Nothing new here really, Blizz knows I play Monk so they want to ruin any quality of life stuff the class provides. This is probably the most petty nerf we’ve received yet. Another zen flight nerf LOL. Anyways, my bad guys.

Omg I didn’t even know monks could fish while in zen flight and now I have lost the ability before I could even try.
I’ve been learning monk ww in blitz and it has been so fun. I’ve had 1-2 since mop but I’ve slept on this class.
Any other neat only monk tricks?
You could cast soothing mist on yourself, use ring of peace, maybe the other option never tried it. And you could do Exploding Keg… Which was quite fun while it lasted.

I am not able to mine while using zen flight.
They forgot to remove the parachute.
honestly i dont even care about being able to mount, but i want to be able to fish…

Yes. They added a 4th effect that disables all abilities while active.

Can’t mount or fish. If they do work on it, I wish they’d at least make it useable indoors. With that slow speed, it’s not going to give monks an unfair advantage, and who floats around meditating out in the weather?

This is an absolutely terrible change, and it’s made even worse as it’s an UNANNOUNCED nerf. I’ve been a defender of Zen Flight for years, because of its additional functionality. But if we can’t interact with stuff anymore, then that’s the bulk of the usefulness of the ability.

Same here… I loved Zen Flight because of the odd uses it had but now? Whats the point? I don’t even need it to save myself from falling because of lighter than air.
