I don’t have much in the pet department, but I do get to stack dots on people and watch them die horribly. 
That’s such a necromancer thing.
but i still wanna see more undead, but not just in dk’s department!
Why would a class whose entire theme is the summoning and control of demons suddenly be able to raise the dead?
…Because the first dk’s in wow were souls of orcs in human dead bodies?
Which technically means necromancy…
and dreadlords technically know necromancy as well… so why not?
The first DKs were. The current Acherus Death Knights are not.
The first death knights were slain orc warlocks in raised human knight bodies.
Not talking about acherus
Warlocks dabble in demon magic, while followed by able to use souls as a form of power or weapon.
necromancers technically do the same, but dont always focus on demons.
FYI the Lich King was created by demons.

i rather have the proper necromancer in the further future after the factions get all buddy buddy with the maldraxxus covenant
Many necros were warlocks or mages who went too deep down the power hole. Even in classic and BC many necros were warlocks or used affliction spells. Over time the lock fantasy drifted away from those themes and laser focused on demons. It was not always that way though. Heck even the preview armor for warlock character creation is the necromancer themed attire full up with bones all over.
I doubt there’s room for a necro class on WoW now but there could certainly be some cosmetic choices. Even if just for pets and I’d be happy at this point. My Affy locks already got the scythes now I just need the pets!

Death Knights are Necromancers in plate
Play an unholy DK. Give them the glyph.
