So, can I just skip bastion and go to the next zone?

Don’t skip the quests, simple.

The dungeons, raids, and maw all tied together with finishing the story. I stayed 60 for three days till all done. The only thing I could do was bg and a normal dungeon in that area. Everything is tied to the story is this expansion.

Well I’m still going to try. This is ridiculous.

No

Literally no, that’s it. All this forum bluster and you’re going to do the quest so why bother?

No, I’m not going to do the quest. I came looking to see if anyone knew a way to skip it, seems no one knows, so I’m opening a ticket.

Enough people complained and moaned about being loyalists for a quest much in the same mind as this, and blizzard magically gave them the option to skip it.

There is a precedent for it.

Yeah you are lol.

It’s a video game my dude; just do the quest.

If they want to do anything at endgame they will.

No, if there is no way past it, then I simply won’t play. it’s pretty simple.

My life isn’t dependent on playing WoW.

It’s an RPG my dude, No.

If it comes to that, then that’s on blizzard.

Yes it is.

Good luck out there!

Then you should cancel your sub now.
We all know how this is going to end.

Seeing how I don’t have an active sub, it’s only a 30 day thing I got from a friend? Don’t need to cancel. But will spend the time trying to find a way around it.

Best of luck to you Don Quixote!!

Honest opinion, you’re just being overly difficult. You could just as easily recognize nothing currently going on is canonical to your character’s story and thus the issue is solved.

The RP community does this all the time. There’s nothing wrong with simply recognizing that this doesn’t fit your character and that you believe nothing currently going on is Nyaria’s conscious decision making or that she’s even there at all. It solves everything.

So were the loyalists, but they got an entire alternate questline given to them and the option to skip stuff they didn’t like. :woman_shrugging:

The fact all of this is so on rails and mandatory is a problem. There is literally no reason why I have to be the one to do this quest.

You can call it whatever you want, but I’ve ignored enough stuff, and this is just not something I care to do, if blizzard stands firm, well I’ll just seek out a refund, and refuse to play. My life doesn’t depend on playing WoW, it’d be nice sure, but it’s not mandatory. Them getting any more money out of me depends on this though.

The stubborn is strong in this one.

Is it the quest where you have to forcibly purge some poor guy of his memories of his family? Because out of all the garbage happening in Bastion, that quest made me feel the dirtiest.
