classic world setting is great
classic class design is garbage and I’m a paladin main in every iteration of the game, I started as a paladin in 2005 thru the end of wrath and quit til classic was announced, then remembered how unfun leveling pressing only seals and judgement for damage was, and played retail instead. I’d rather not have RNG be the main determining factor on if I can land a kill or not.

I’m just going to throw this out there…
I was thinking about this yesterday and I’m happy that the population of the SoD playerbase is dying down while waiting for P4. Crusader Strike is starting to feel more like Chaos Bolt did with less layering. I’m not a fan of layers or Mega Servers.
I’ll be perfectly happy if we stabilize somewhere around Chaos Bolt’s old population; while, waiting on P4. It just feels better to me and I can run some alts like this (with the absolute minimum of incursion play.)

It was obvious since day one.
You had only 1 bg available in p1 and 1 raid with items you sold to vendor on next phase.
P2 ? 2 bgs, same thing for pve, pvp event that is irrelevant after you participate 3-4 times with a solid group.
P3? Copy>> paste p2, raise stats.
If it was not for retail having solo shuffle and semi-decent balance (all classes 2400/glad viable), subs would drop much more.
Paladin on Classic is perfectly fine.
Making every class special means no class is.

Ive only ever posted negatively about GDKP
and positively about the ban.
The only good thing to come from SOD, but its still limited to SOD.
So keep coping about your dead mode

nah it’s boring and does garbage damage, if you’re PVE geared up as ret it’s because you’re either a charity case, healed your way through raid forever for off spec gear or a guild leader.
OH MAN you must be so good at watching weapon swing timer and twisting
like, if nobody got ANY runes, paladin still deserves at least crusader strike in classic era

Any Classic+ worth its salt will start with something more along the lines of BC or Wrath. In fact, for the longest time my thought about Classic+ was just having BC class design wholly back-ported into Vanilla WoW and then tuning it is as needed.
Guys, the literal class designers of Vanilla WoW have admitted, openly, that they had simply not finished working on the game and were told to just ship the game as-is and to finish the classes in BC. BC is when they first completed the class design. Someone’s opinion is trash and they’re probably just going to get muted if they talk to me about Vanilla class design and don’t accept that its garbage.

I moved to CS from CB. Stopped logging in because CS felt like a lobby game, CB felt like classic server.

Yeah, CS is starting to feel this way. It even has people shouting that “CS is a dead server!” whiile, there’s 100 people in Ironforge. lol
You did the right thing. Classic isn’t for everyone, but that doesn’t mean it should be changed.
