I mean…it’s about time we are able to bail off a flight path mid flight don’t you think? Most classes don’t even need a parachute. I’m just saying it’s way overdue in my book. About as overdue as Player Housing.

no direct way to do that, just force quit the game (like alt-f4 or closing the game window) and up re logging in you’ll be falling from the sky.
i found this out by being on a flight path with my ISP having network hiccups. it’s one of the reasons i rather use my own flying mounts
That’s… not how that works. It’ll just log you back in on the flight path.
If it were that easy to hop off a flight path I’d have been doing it for years.

This would be nice. With good timing even a hunter can do a wow version of a HALO jump and whip out a disengage from a player mount they unsummon at high flight height. Let’s get this on a npc Mount.
Makes for one hell of a grand entrance when you do this too.
Dh’s this is how I mAke entrances as well. Free fall and glide in at some point.
Or…they could fix the static npc routes to not waste time.
The horde flight from the top of the pyramid to bottom is just so bad. Half of it is going why the hell are we going in this direction to begin with.

All of our characters are scared of heights, they’re not going to jump off that bird.

A lot of the alliance flight paths aren’t any better. They really need to stream line these flight paths instead of having them roam from station to station. It’s really annoying. Also they should fix the “early stop” button to just either let me jump off or go to the very closest one even if I already passed it up.
