So, Blizzard is resorting to stealth nerfs now

So because of PVP tanks are getting a nerf? well, this is something that has never happened before.

Wasn’t the flat damage reduction of tanks recently nerfed by 10%?
so instead of 100 x .9 x 1.5 to get 135% damage
you get 100 x 1.5 = 150% damage
which just happens to be 100 x .9 x 1.67

So where we’re at is:
-Tanks get huge damage output nerfs. (At least bear)
-Tanks take huge increases in damage taken.
-Protection Paladins are required to que as a healer.
That’s kind of a mess.

So, if a Guardian druid pops out of bear form to do some healing not only does he lose all of his bear defenses, but he takes an increase of 67% damage.

As a guardian druid, I guess I just won’t bother with PVP in WoW.

Seems to be their intended stance on tanks. I would probably nerf their defenses but leave the damage. This would make them just another DPS spec pretty much. Nerfing their damage as well just makes them not even a threat

And again they blanket nerf brewmasters

If that was true they wouldn’t be able to queue as such. The opinion of the player is just an unwritten rule… Those can be promptly ignored

This game’s balance has gone to crap. PVP and PVE used to live in relative harmony. But now raids are so insane, characters need crazy defensive cooldowns, healing is more efficient than damage, and mobility is a must.

Even as a DPS main I don’t agree with that at all. Tanks can be great fun in PvP, they just shouldn’t become immortal when they’re within casting range of a healer and probably shouldn’t be pulling damage numbers on par with those of DPS specs while in it.

Stealth nerfing roles/classes removes the players choice on if they want to continue playing that role or class still. I wouldn’t have bought all my PvP tank gear if I had known about this nerf.

Good, playing a tank class in PvP is inherently cringe!!

You can agree about the nerfs to tanks but there is nothing good about stealth nerfs that removes choice out of the players hands.

Your right, I agree with you.

Which literally happens. lol

I am pretty sure gym members get notified about a price increase for their membership.

They absolutely should document every class change made.

That wasn’t part of the conversation nor did Blizzard raise your sub price.

You totally skipped over the most important part, getting notified aka patch notes.

This is incorrect. Tanks do not belong in 2’s and 3’s. They absolutely belong in brackets like RBG’s and 5’s though, which should be brought back.

Yeah that’s fair enough. I guess I mean arena.

LOL no. People don’t think they suddenly became bad.

It’s almost as though Ion wants tanks to know they are being punished for choosing to play the game.

Maybe when wow goes to mobile you’ll enjoy mythic raiding on your cellphone.

That’d be kind of fun I think. 2 healers 1 tank and 2 DPS or 1 healer 2 tanks and 2 DPS. The latter would be kind of crazy.

Maybe 1 healer and 4 tanks and it becomes tank bracket
