It’s just concept art, it’s showing the player being in the “real world” and joining this new game.
I can’t see how you can be excited, survival games aren’t new. It will be years before anything comes out, and it has nothing to do with their current IPs which are all in development hell or abandoned (except hearthstone).

Most survival games that came out during the supposed “survival game craze” were all kinda terrible.
The only one that seemed slightly interesting was Valhiem, and even that fell apart from lack of content updates.
Who knows, maybe this will be a new perspective into Survival games and actually be something unique and interesting

My interest is peaked at the very least, I do really enjoy survival games so this could be something cool.
Really opens the door to some “surviving” at Blizzard jokes though so I’m sure the Social Media Managers will really have a fun one with that

All I care about is whether it’ll take up 500GB of hard drive space or not. Ridiculous how much space survival games take. coughARKcough

I agree with you completely. Most survival games are terrible. None of them have ever captured me in any way. The genre needs an actual developer with resources to make anything worth playing.
Unlike all of my friends, I thought Valheim was terrible. I was really confused by its popularity.

I think I stated that Hearthstone is exempt from either being abandoned (HotS) or in development hell (Overwatch 2).
Yeah, but Overwatch was massively successful in pretty much all metrics for it’s first two years before they abandoned it for OW2. Literally the only FPS game to get Game of the Year.
