We have playable high elves? No, we have playable VOID elves.
Half-elves are one of the core races in DnD. No reason to take it in some weird politicized direction because you spend too much time on Reddit and think everyone is a racist.

So? This is WoW, noone cares about Timmy’s ‘super original’ Half-Elf Dragonkin character. Point is, there is no precedence of en-masse dragon x elf breeding going on. It’d just be weird.

Its a travesty, she should be a lot more purple, but she’s also different from the playable Void Elves.
from the first batch of playable void elves. who are a lab accident. new ones are created in a different fashion, we just dont know the details and that allows for creative ideas.

A Dragonkin-elf would be cool! Most Dragonkin take elf forms at some point, so there is precedent for that. Everyone here is going in a magical direction, and you are way over there talking about genitals.

No they wouldn’t. Hyper is literally the only person who has asked for this/
it most certainly is not. if we just get pale versions of our current haircolors, as options as well, that follows the idea that yes the new void elves are void elves but they arent nearly etherealized like the originals were.

Dragonkin are a pretty popular request, and literally all Dragons take mortal forms. There is solid lore backing this, you are the only one going on about “Dragon Breeding”.
Why would a bunch of neutral dragons pledged to serve Azeroth decide to dabble in petty faction conflicts?
It’s a stupid fantasy game, the why is “because it’s cool”, there isn’t anything deeper than that.
Go play Warhammer 40k, or read Lord of the Rings. WoW isn’t the place to take the lore that seriously. You are playing a Void elf, one of the dumbest lore additions yet.

I mean, this is far from the first, and won’t be the last time they’ve said they’ll do something then never did. He’s kind of within his right to express skepticism even if you choose to be optimistic. I’d even go as far as to say he has more grounds to be pessimistic than you do to be optimistic with whether Blizzard will follow through on something.
I’m not trolling, I love WoW, but the people that are taking it this seriously are in denial that Blizzard is just making up random stuff as they go along. They have to sell an expansion every 2 years, the WoW lore is ridiculous at this point. We are 15 years deep of a world-ending threat every patch.
