you dont want SP to be tanky, and you also don’t want them to have any significant mobility, why does this spec even exist?
we’re both less tanky and less mobile than warlocks who have ports and gate as well as soul leech/usable cds to negate damage
why even have this class in the game? it’s a legitimate joke and you guys can’t balance it correctly 90% of the time anyway
It exists for plot reasons and for void tentacle ERP.
they’re not even good in pve so this has to be the only answer
id rather them rebalance the entire spec into a shadow mage playstyle with mobility than any version of the trash we’ve received the last decade and a half
I’ve been playing my spriest and it’s survivability is crazy.
If you know how to use fade well you can ignore massive amounts of damage.
brother burst windows last longer than the 1 second fade window immunity
it felt like where it should be pre-void leech nerf imo
they shouldve just nerfed one of our other defensives instead of taking that away (or make flash heal shadow mend again so it’s on the same school of magic)
try playing sp into enh/bm or bm/war now and tell me you’re having a good time
plus we still have the worst dot dispel coverage in the game
If you time it well, that 1 second can mean a lot.
Dispersion is relatively short CD for how amazing it is.
This sounds like a nerf. Kick on anything and it’s a full lockout.
Play with a mage.
they were cracked in dragonflight m+ tho (which is just a few months ago) with mind soothe, mass dispell and vampiric embrace. They just arent top tier right now

They’re still the tankiest spec in the game, but they should also have door of shadows IMO.
Lock is also very tanky for the same reason as SP, but has worse defensives. Disperse >>> wall (defensively speaking).

Bm hunter is overtuned so EVERY class needs to line the hunter to force them to come in and get cleaved to have a chance of winning.
