The new “dark ranger” customization is undead option for 3 elf races. Of those 3 elf races 1 (blood elf) can be paladins. There are no restrictions on paladins using these new options. As such they have canonized undead paladins.
Now they a class of undead paladins exists I’d like to request undead human’s get paladins next. Thanks.
This in conjunction with the prior comments about opening class restrictions in the future all but confirms undeqd paladins.
Makes me excited to see what void elf ‘paladins’ will look like.
My hope is that they triple down on the strategies abandoned by the original blood knights.
I want to see void knights sapping void naaru.

If Blizz intends to trash their lore, they might as well be consistent about it. Get rid of class/race restrictions and allow cross-faction everything. They’re arbitrary at this point.
I mean they are planning on getting rid of class/race restrictions. Or at the very least relaxing it as much as possible. Same with the cross faction thing, they want to relax it as much as possible while keeping some of the “spirit” of the faction rivalry.

To be fair undead using the light has always been a thing. It just comes at a cost of severe pain.
Always have been, in lore anyways.
Forsaken aren’t just undead humans though. Forsaken according to Lilian Voss are all (sentient) undead who are willing to join the faction.
And Dark Elves raised in the same way Sira was raised are in constant Pain!
The Undead Dark Elves are among the few Undead Paladins who make sense as only those already in constant Pain would be apathetic to the Pain of the Light constantly channeling through them 24/7!
Just release the lions. Release all the classes!
