because your new ui layout screams one of two things.
a. mobile is the future deal with it.

b. we time traveled to 1995 and are ignoring any screen resolution beyond 640x846.

The forums? I haven’t seen it on my pc yet. I actually like the look of it on my phone though. Aside from a few bugs, and the lack of a post preview button!
just wait till you get to desktop version..yeah this confirms it. blizzard wants us all on mobile. desktop version is hot garbage.
God damn it. Why is this always a thing? Web teams at companies needing something to do I guess. So they change a website for the worse, then they get feedback telling them it’s crap, so then they revert it. They get a few months of work and the users get a worse experience for a while.

I have yet to see it on Desktop but on mobile it’s kind of ugly. The color choice of the menu (when you click your profile picture) is hideous.

It seems to be an option now. Ayukama has a helpful post showing how to enable previews again. Not sure about Mobile, but that works on my PC.

The Forum Support Agents are not part of the Website team, and def not part of the Discourse company who makes the software.
They sometimes get previews of BIG changes like when they switched to Discourse from their own Blizzard forums back in 2018, but they don’t get told about every update, or even when it is happening. The teams just don’t seem to really talk much I guess.

Ooh I love this change on Desktop.
The reply window now blocks the post I am replying to incase I want to re-read it, but I get a great view of the scroll bar which is obviously very important.
I don’t browse the internet on my phone like a preteen, I own actual computers.

my game still runs at 2560 x 1440 on ultra settings. i’m not entirely sure what point you’re trying to make.
This is about the forums, not about the game.
if anything, I’m still seeing threads at the same size but when I go to respond to something I get a bigger box with smaller font so I can see everything I’m typing. It feels a lot like the view has been moved up to 125% and the response has been moved back to 75% similar scaling to a webpage.
and since I use Chrome on mobile, all I have to do is tap on Zoom settings and hit the zoom out button one time and everything looks fine
