So Azeroth

So what you think is happening back on Azeroth while were gone in the Shadowlands? Could are next expansion possibly just be reclaiming are homelands from the devastated state we left it in?

The rift that has opened between worlds has to be having an effect on Azeroth. I mean the pre-patch had all sorts of undead minions that we had slain granted life again to wreck havoc ( and give loot  ) upon Icecrown.

So there is a some untaped potential to have great content when we have to return home.
Some things that come to mind is a ghostly/supernatural type raid for the ruins of Darnassus. How about content with the scared side of Silvermoon or we finally have to seek the depths of Ahn’kahet: the old kingdom. Just tons of opportunity.

Azeroth is taking it easy, throwing a beach party without us, all joining hands and singing.

Someone came and stabbed Azeroth with a sword from the other side.

They’re still being attacked by the Scourge. All effort is holding them off while we take on the head of the snake behind the scenes. There’s no time difference though. People are freely traveling between Oribos and Azeroth. We even go back to Azeroth for campaign quests. Not much has changed. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Jailer fight actually goes into Azeroth in the later patches.

Next expansion is very unpredictable, depends what goes down at the end of SL. Expansions tend to roll into each other so we gotta see what happens. Personally I think the Dragon Isles is a strong possibility.

Repopulation efforts. Lots of people died in the 4th War.

I have a feeling we will come back and find a Light invasion going on lol. I think the next the xpac will be a light themed one.

I’m thinking we’ll return to find the place overrun with cyber gnomes and fox peoples.

We’ll have to organize a program to purge them to more manageable population levels.

And while we’re at it, we might as well eliminate all the pandas, because…pandas are a scourge that do nothing other than roll around leaving trails of hair everywhere. Disgusting.

/moo :cow:

When we get back it’s going to be all bushy and overgrown!

will i think its not there anymore… the big sword killed her

not sure, but when we come back next expansion, I want to see better updates to the world. We fought battles in Arathi, Ashenvale, Darkshore…there’s been construction in Stonetalon Mountains forever…

they really put effort into their story, but haven’t shown the ending to any of their chapters…

so i hope to see progress

Hopefully scorched.

Purged of all life so I don’t have to bother saving it anymore.

pretty sure nothing but inner arguments. that giant sword sargeras plunged into azeroth is still there and we barely did anything about it.

though i hear blizzard is making a mobile game that takes place on azeroth during the events on shadowlands, but that is merely a rumor.

Today, everyone in Azeroth watched the 007 Marathon on BBC America.

Whatever is afoot must not be affecting terribly the major cities. I much doubt Ol’ Emma and company would have been the only two to make the trek to Oribos from Stormwind if they were so besieged.

With the gateway to the afterlife open, all those turtles that didn’t make it to the water are invading right now.

IIRC the Lawful Stupid campaign, Lakeshire gets sacked by the Scourge.

A friend and I were on that quest (lakeshire) we would both start the ghoul fight at the same time. Winner was who survived the longest. Don’t drink the lemonade when you get it, save it for near 10% health.

Good question. And, no we’ve been to the afterlife …who’s going to be fine just going back and running errands like we used to before? I feel the lore needs to be flushed out a little more. A mid-season book would be cook in-between these expansions to add more narrative.
