… and at what point do the “If YoU cOmPlAiN aBoUt DoWnTiMe” crowd acknowledge there is a problem?
If my customers were unable to use the products I sold them for 2-6 hours 5 days a week, I’d assume there was an issue.
Oh bruh, literally never, that would be comparable to a sin against God.
Yeah, this is getting kind of silly. 20-year-old game having to do daily maintenance. I wish they would do this downtime in the middle of the night.
It’s really giving f2p mmo that’s on maintenance every other day. The only difference is at least those f2p’s usually have the decency to give you free things as compensation.
The Blizzard white knights will never admit the company is doing things wrong. They don’t realize that by refusing to admit there’s a problem, they’re enabling Blizzard to keep treating their customers like this. It doesn’t seem like a big deal right now but it’s going to be really detrimental to the long term health of the game. A lot of players seem to be losing faith in their ability to deliver finished or even working products anymore.
yall signed the legal forms that say “blizzard can do maintenance whenever they need to” and you said, yep that sounds great to me! so the only problem is the one they’re taking the servers down to fix. deal with it or quit paying blizzard
I really can’t stand shills. I’ve been playing this game since vanilla beta and still would never want to be like that.
Tuesday maintenance is what it is, Wednesday maintenance for that long annoying but okay. Three days in a row? Get your **** together. I’m so far behind in filling my vault I’m a daytime player.
This right here! I play during the morning/day and my vault is going to be garbage as a result.
At least this is currently only an hour long.
That didn’t take long. I figured there’d be at least a few more posts before one of you showed up.
I don’t disagree with you. But you entirely missed my point. My point is where do people like you draw the line and decide to quit playing? Because the more we collectively understand where that point is for a significant enough amount of people, the more we can understand when Blizz might actually start taking a good hard look at themselves and do something about it.
Because “If YoU dOn’T lIkE iT tHeN lEaVe” mentality only really works when it’s just a few people whining. If enough people leave, there won’t be a game for you to play. Do you… see how this works?
are days just 2 hours now? wow, inflation is out of control
It’s not supposed to be half the day today. It’s only supposed to be an hour today. If it ends up being more than that you might have a point, but that isn’t currently the case.
Well if the game does die at least I won’t be compelled to return every now and then because there won’t be anything to return to.
Honestly, I am happy that the game is getting bugs patched up, that’s always a good thing. However, the daily maintenance trend is getting a little silly to me. (And before you hit me with bUt VanIllA had WEEK LoNG MAinteNAnce… I know. I was there.)
because of maintenance? i wont. i made it through endwalker’s launch, where people couldnt play for over a week at a time. that was unsub-worthy. blizzard doing maintenance for a few hours while i’m at work is nothing
unfortunately for you, it is only a few people whining. yall are in the minority
Praying it’s actually only like 30 min.
The tears will still flow.
Tell that to yesterday. And the day before. And pretty much every maintenance day since DF.
Also, nobody actually plays 24/7. It’s a little disingenuous/misleading to act like “day” means full 24h you know. Or maybe you don’t know.
cope right there
im drinking it too
Maintenance everyday doesn’t affect the majority of the playerbase which are normal people who bake bread in their free time. I know it, i’ve read it here.
