It’s still insane that the Dracthyr shipped with one character model, and the inability to transmog any armor besides belt and shoulders.
I found myself really enjoying the gameplay of the Evoker, but the Dracthyr wind up feeling like a stain upon the game, because they are so severely limited compared to any other race.
And for the record, I was completely on board with them being locked to Evokers, in the effort of going all out on the Evokers’ class fantasy.
…which is why I still find it baffling that for a “playable dragon” class-race combo, they didn’t literally go with actual dragons. Why make them humanoid if the class was intended to be exclusive? And why make them humanoid if they couldn’t wear armor?
All it all, they just look like an incomplete effort, and they reflect poorly on the game. The existing “barbershop-armor” looks fine and would make a great “Heritage armor set” for them, but surely they need to AT THE VERY LEAST be able to wear their own Class Armor sets (you get a pass on helms and cloaks).
I would be pretty stoked to see an announcement of them getting full transmog, since as I said, I really enjoyed the gameplay. Alternatively, give them a cosmetic “dragon form” to use in combat instead, and I would be super happy with that. That’s supposed to be the class fantasy, after all, being a “playable dragon”.
