This statement is way to broad to be true. I report too. But what category are you gonna put the “LANJE something something something” MC groups? There’s countless groups like that that don’t fit any reportable category. Then there’s foreign language groups written entirely in Cantonese/Mandarin etc. These are issues only ignores solve. And that just touches the surface.
after 19 years of playing this game and reporting hundreds of people over the years, I go back in about every six months and delete everybody in that list and I never hear from them again. So while I am just one person among 7 million active subscriptions I can tell you from personal experience that they go away. However, you feel free to keep capping your ignore list and having to deal with more people. In the meantime, this whole conversation reminds me. I need to check my list tomorrow cause I think there are seven people in there.
Again, a blanket statment that is incorrect in my experience. I have lost count the number of times I open the group finder and I see the same 2 or 3 groups coloured in red because GIL has flagged them on my ignore list. So I know not to touch such groups. But I guess it depends on the content you do. So that’s probably why you don’t see what I do.
Except that I never cap my GIL. I simply pretend the in-built ignore list doesn’t exist since it’s 100% useless to me. No great issue for me as like I said, GIL has no cap, is more account wide than the in-built system is, and has the facility to create rules to filter chat.
you do you buddy.
let me guess… someone upsets you, so you send them a whisper that’s constructed to infuriate them, and you immediately put them on ignore so they can not respond, further infuriating them.
You are just trolling people, and there needed to be a limit because of d-bags like you.
