I did some of the quest line on my DH, but he’s still only renown 2 (I saved a few tokens vs spending them…) and when I logged onto my druid, I had flight form? And thanks to speed enchants (+700, or 13%) my bird now flies at 420% speed. Fantastic! That initial fly through the rings quest you are supposed to do on the new goofy bird dragon I can do in flight form too, so yeah. Sweet.

Well, I’m going to guess for those that want to gather on old flying mounts, stacking speed gear and enchants (and gems?) along with certain talents will really boost the flying speed a lot.
Running speed doesn’t affect mount speed.
You have master riding which is 320%.
320 + 100 base = 420.
But that’s still nothing in comparison to the base thrill of the skies 928%.

I actually didn’t know that, but good to know, thanks for educating me. (seriously).
As for 420 vs 928, yeah, it’s only half the speed, but still, it is HALF as fast, which isn’t bad. And with instant cast, it sure helps. What I often find myself doing is using my stormrider to get somewhere then dismounting in the air into bird form. Handy. And no worries about stop and hover that way, I never have to land.
Oh, and that big water rare you have to attach the ropes to? Yeah, druids can do the rope grab AND attach while in bird form. HEH.

First thing I did was the exploration to get flight form back.
Finally Ima druid again.
Stealth → flight form is always handy.
Insta-cast flying if you are falling (out of combat) is handy.
BUT DF → Flight Form!

Too bad we can’t get it as dynamic flying just a hair slower than normal dragon riding like normal flying goes 10% slower

Flight form doesn’t go slower than mounts. I think you might be comparing it to your pally.
Since your Pally has a passive 10% increased mount speed. (And DK’s too. But only with traditional flying.)
When pathfinder gives a speed boost flight form isnt affected by it. Idk if this one has one like SL and Bfa but it could be thats causing the difference if theyre getting one.
Could also be dk or pallly boost yah.
Speed Enchants only work on foot…
The enchant you want is: Rider’s Reassurance…
