im playing ghosts of tsushima right now. if I was an orc slapping humans around this would be the best game of all time

they apparently cancelled the shooter starcraft they were working on. thats whatever that game was, AND starcraft ghost.

2016 and eternal are far superior to 1 and 2.
1 and 2 were amazing for their time but be serious, they are just corridors and key cards. they arent great by any standard but the time they were made

And 2016 and Eternal are any better because…? at least DOOM 1 and 2 didn’t lock you in a room with only 12 enemies because the fancy new engine can’t handle too many enemies at once. Serious Sam TFE had bigger locked environments/rooms and enemy counts when it came out in 2001 comparatively.
so this is it? because theres less enemies in a room and youre comparing it to serious sam?
Doom actually has complicated mechanics for its enemies now. not everything is just headshots. bah nevermind

I played RRR so much that I was able to do a 180 before crossing the finish line and fire a barrage of missiles behind me taking out my buddies in 2nd place. I also could time my missiles to fire them across the track to hit people as they passed on the opposite side. I always refused to get the hover craft because it didn’t have missiles.
Also my friends would only play if they were Olaf because they felt they needed the advantage.

I played it a ton on Sega, it was the game that gave me my first blister from holding down the button legit all day. That was also when I learned not to bite open blisters, probably the most painful thing my little self experienced in my life at the time.

Blizzard needs a singles player game. A game where you meet other singles. And your matches can singleforge, which triples the chance of find soulmate.

You are right. I should be comparing it to DOOM 1, 2, TNT, and the Plutonia Experiment all of which had far more enemies on screen at once to kill which is what you want in a shooting game.
Oooh, press F to glory kill and get some health or use the chainsaw which has fuel now for whatever stupid reason and get health, ammo, and armour back. Very complicated.
