I go to do the invasion quest in Vuldun, and see Alliance NPCs, outright murdering Vulpera. Immolate, Chaos Bolt. The Vulpera even say, “I want no part in this war, but at least the Horde aren’t killing us!”
How can you justify this?

The Alliance are like “Talking dogs? Not this again.”
They’re obviously Legion-spawned, just look at them, so therefore I must kill them.
Human rights only belong to humans
Vuldun taste good with secret sauce? Meow!
It’s yet another example of lopsided cheap storytelling tricks to get each faction to think that they’re the heroes and the other side is pure straight evil.
Also see:
But yeah. When you play as Alliance in the Voldun incursion you chase the shivering Vulpera off with totems that make them run away instead of killing them.
We ignore it because it makes no sense Alliance should be attacking members of the Horde, not Vulpera. It only adds fuel to the “Vulpera will be next Horde AR” argument.
they were going to have the aliance as just straight up extermination squads. however they made the alliance more of a scare em off type thing.
but gotta explain it in terms the horde can comprehend.
we all know the horse has no functional understanding of compassion so they just jet the horde assume the alliance are murdering the poor lirttle fox people.
If they aren’t with us, they’re against us
Same with Zandalari trolls. The Alliance launched an unprovoked attack on a sovereign nation that was not at war with them was not a member of the Horde faction. Some Alliance zealots think their faction can do no wrong, but they do. Their warmongering is actually what is bringing factions, like the Zandalari Empire, into the Horde. The Alliance is their own worst enemy.
In their opinion, hypocritical, they will say"But the Vulpera were helping the Horde!" Um, so? Gazlowe freaking built Orgrimmar and helped me on Draenor, but I don’t see the Alliance at war with Booty Bay and Ratchet and such.
“But the Zandalari were helping the Horde!” With what? We had a bank and a tronsmogger? I did all the work, the Horde hero did everything, the Zanda used me like a dog and the king still didn’t join until they came in and slaughtered him for not surrendering? NOW they will join us. Odds are if Vulpera become playable, it will be the same thing, they will join based on their treatment by the Alliance.
Please note, I am not saying the Horde does not do bad things! I am just saying the Alliance does too- and before you say “Not as bad as the Horde!” There’s no such thing as a scientific basis for “bad”. There are no measurement systems for “badness”. Both factions do evil things, but this is an example of the Alliance.
What else do you expect to happen when you let warlocks and fire mages work together?
Stares at the smoldering remnants of Teldrassil, the burning husk of Brennadam, with civilians speared to the walls, and the tortured and mutilated remains of others, the weeping orphans and children who watched their homes burn and their people die.
When you unleash atrocity in War, you never know who will be the next victim, where it will end, or if it will ever end in anything but total annihilation. You start a cycle that can continue through thousands of years of blood, misery, pain and death.
When Sylvanas burned Teldrassil, She unlocked the door to the darkness that lurks within the hearts of all mortals:
Still disappointed they changed it.
Because only the Horde and Mag’har knows what happened.
The portals to alt Draenor were closed, Horde champions had to go through an entire spiel with the help of the bronze Dragonflight to get back.
So exactly what happens in real life lol? No country teaches the same version of history…
I’m looking forward to rolling a Vulpera Hunter someday. I might actually pick the class up. I need to give Survival a try first though…because MM and BM aren’t doin’ much for me.
I think back to the children crying over their mother and father being speared to the side of their homes in Brennadam by the Horde.
slow nod gives way to applause and a standing ovation
There can only be one cute race on the Alliance. Get out of here vulpera!
