So, Alliance getting the first 400 is "unfair"

…but when Horde thought they were getting the first 400, they told the Alliance to suck it up.

*First, this is not a callout, this is just pointing out the hypocrisy on the forums.

I love the hypocrisy of the Horde players on this forum at times. For like a week before the raid released, Horde believed if they pushed the Darkshore Warfront to start for Alliance before Tuesday, they could get the first piece of “free” 400 gear, and when Alliance found this out, we pushed back and held off contributions to delay the Warfront, cause Horde also got the first “free” piece of higher level gear in the first raid tier.

However, when it came out that the new War Mode quest gives 400 gear (and the Warfront pushing by the Horde failed, thus giving Alliance another 400 piece), Horde players have been flooding the forums that the Alliance getting the first piece of 400 gear is unfair.

Now, this is NOT about the fact Alliance will get a 400 piece every week they get a 30% bonus, this is strictly about the people complaining about the fact Alliance got the first 400 piece.

A serious question to the Horde players here:

Why do you view it as okay that you, as Horde, can get the first 400 piece, but when it happens for Alliance, it’s not okay?

I think you need to take a deep breath, its just a game and midway through the patch the ilvl 400 will be totally next to useless.

Haven’t seen people complain about the warfront tbh because Horde did the get initial advantage in Uldir. It just how the timing was sadly.

The only problem is the Warmode trash going on.

Honestly, the entire problem with Warfronts is the fact they give good gear in the first place when you’re not doing anything of value. Literally getting high end gear for breathing oxygen at optimal frequencies like why.

Not only did the horde get the first 370 loot the first time around, but the horde also got to farm up 340 gear in warfronts before blizzard slapped that 320 requirement before the alliance got a single turn.

I know because I did this for my horde character.

The point is that everyone is hypocrits.

I have zero issue with anything. In like 2 months, ilvl400 will be like 370s will have been a couple months ago.

More so my issue is you get both the increased warfront and increase world boss ilvls. Horde doesn’t get the increased world boss ilvls till our next go around. At least with Arathi you had the equivalent ilvl with Lion’s War. That’s my only complaint on warfronts, mainly timing sucked I guess.

(Eu Alliance doesn’t get the increased warfront gear ilvl because of their timing :frowning_face: )

What I find funny is that everyone was flocking to the winning side, fotm horde, which was literally win by Zerg. And when bliz changed the incentive, alliance engaged, and now horde folks are crying. Oh how the tide has turned. The shoe is on the other foot, the primrose path has been walked.

yet you don’t see blizzard in here for a reason. All this talk is equivalent to barrens chat and has about as much value.

You have to keep in mind, though. ilvl 400 is the alliance end-game. Apparently alliance racials are so useless they can’t raid.

Complaining over Alliance getting the warfront first is hypocritical.

However, I think you are purposefully ignoring which piece of gear Horde players are having an issue with.

Most are complaining about the ilvl 400 piece from WARMODE not WARFRONTS.

There is a difference.

funny thing about this is I really don’t care too much about the 400. this char got hers and it replaced a 375 forged. And I was not godlike in power. Wasn’t expecting to be though lol.

Now I am quite happy about the rings and trinkets better ilevel in open world rotation. Lots of 320-330 “trash” upgrade to 350+'s. And its for all sides. Lots of WQ’s yesterday to re ring/trinket the alliance and horde 120’s.

So as a person who plays horde…horde complainers need to kill some time on your rings and trinkets. You got some nicer gear out there too. You get the 400 next week. Fix your rings and trinkets…it may be better than the 1 400 from warfront potentially.

Before this when servers combined and pvp melded in horde had fun cherry picking noobs for pvp points/rewards. Horde had fun doing this. Now alliance does. Maybe a better a reward but horde was getting rewarded for when they did this too. Its all fun and games till it happens to you applies here.

Really… I like being Alliance, but you all you whiners need to shut up already, it’s downright absurd how you can whine about something for so long- find out you’re wrong, and then KEEP WHINING WHEN THE ADVANTAGE IS YOURS.

Are you kidding me? THIS is the real reason people are leaving the Alliance, the playerbase is downright nauseating and pathetic. You’re destroying our faction by being the sorts of people nobody wants to be around.

I don’t care one way or another personally.

But to act like this is a Horde phenomena and not a player phenomena is pretty ridiculous.

You could just as easily turn this around and point out that when the Alliance thought the Horde was goign to get the first 400 ilvl pieces they cried and moaned, and as soon as they realized they would get the first 400’s themselves they told the Horde to suck it up.

Now, some of those people are just hypocrites, and were on both sides of it. Some of the statements coming out were just coming form different people. The Forums aren’t a collective hive mind, they are individuals posting their own individual thoughts.

They are getting two 400 ilvl gear pieces and 400 every week after that. Yeah, It’s not fair anymore and it was a dumb idea to begin with.

So when does the horde start getting free gear to make it go back to being unfair for the horde side again? Or would that just be not fair? :roll_eyes:

I love how alliance players love to point out how we got ONE piece of gear while sitting on 9 pieces of free heroic raiding gear. Now THAT’S hypocrisy at its finest. :rofl:

Ok… thats because of the warfront timing. It had to go one way or the other and it always switched off and you knew when. We also didnt get the next week another warfront 370. Your comparison is not equivalent. I award you 0 points. Alliance not only get 400, but its been Allianced favored forawhile now and to boot, its from the newest raid. SO thats whatever that argument you were trying to present. DEMOLISHED.
