And yes I know we get a stupid achievement and a mount for one of them, but what about Broken Isles Part 2 and BFA Part 2, no rewards there for all the EXCRUCIATING slog of a grind we had to put up with.
Furthermore, if this crummy system is gonna persist in Shadowlands, then im just not gonna play anymore. All other MMOs let you get flying within first month, But heres wow “Sure, well give you flying, come back a year later and you’ll get to soar over outdated zones!”
First its the Rep/Allied Races, now flying, whats the point in working hard now if its just gonna all be given away for free eventually?
It wasn’t for nothing. You were able to fly for YEARS before the people without Pathfinder (and while that content was CURRENT, no less)… also there’s that mount from WoD Pathfinder which they’ll still have to do the things you did.
Removing arbitrary restrictions from old content that’ll only be seen by a fraction of people leveling up and those hunting for xmogs/toys is NOT a bad thing, it makes it more likely people will play that content.

you dont comprehend the advantage of being able to farm NOW while the content is even remotely ‘current’ while someone without PF now has no chance of keeping up with you?
flight is an advantage. It shouldnt be an issue in OLD content where you probably wont be playing much anymore anyway.
And honestly, its kinda petulant to be so concerned that someone else might get something later on for less work.
Did you scream when I got the Legion flight master whistle with a large drink after you all did the grind for it?

Stop worrying about what new players get, and instead use your vast experience to just be a smug elitist whenever you run into a newb. After all you worked so hard, you definitely earned it.
They are making WoD and Legion Flying available with expert riding (I beleve) at level 30 when SL drops .
They are leaving the WoD cheevo in for just the mount and the Broken Isle part 1 in for just the mount speed . Neither will be needed for flying in those zones.
I support this change to flying and don’t care because I have been flying for years on all my toons - they have to pay for each and every toon and that will be expensive. Oh that’s it! This is a secret plot to see tokens!!!
