Can we get this item changed to be uncommon/green? It’s kinda annoying that the only tabard that looks like this is only available to brand new characters that bought it on Exile’s Reach

Horde always get the ugly stuff. The Arathi Basin tabard looks regal for the Alliance. For the Horde it looks green and evil, unsightly and doesn’t match with most mogs. Thats why all the Ally players wear theirs but Horde do not.

I swear it’s been the exact reverse for over a decade. I know so many people who farmed the defilers tabard and wore it with basically anything from tbc up to now.

i always liked the defilers tabard lol, looks pretty good with the mythic Tomb of Sargeras warrior set and with some forsaken mogs. This horde tabard looks better than the alliance variant but most characters can’t use it for unknown reasons

I second your suggestion for the reason that if you do wear it the game will bug and warn you every single time you want to mog. It’s annoying.

can you get the tabald from exiles reach… then transmog it on to a renown guild tabald.
In Classic the vast majority of Ally PvP players use that tabard while almost all the Horde players who also earned it do not. Some do but not nearly as many as the Allys. The Gold tabard matches the plate R14 set perfectly. And for my rogue it the Silver Wing Sentinel one will match the rogue R14 perfectly as both are purple. Horde kinda got screwed with that one.
unfortunately the tabard doesn’t get added to the appearance collection because it is considered a common item. So the only way to use the appearance is to have the tabard itself, which is unobtainable by characters that did not have the option of Exile’s Reach as their starting zone

That is curious. It’s a kind of nice reward for new characters that choose to level that way however. Like a Worgen top hat from the starting area.
It takes a whole what…30 minutes to level through exile reach. Why not just speed run through and get the tabard.
because it is only usable on that individual character that did Exile’s Reach. Common items are not transmogable

regardless of what people think of the item. it should be green quality so it can be transmoged. or better yet, add white and gray items to the pool of transmog. that would really raise the value of the junk that drops off mobs.

I am they’ll get to it when they add the missing boots, or the starter warglaives to the game
I love the Defiler’s tabard. It’s still in my rotation for my Undead characters.

In current retail there is a lot that matches with it but in Classic you are stuck looking like you dont know how to dress. Horde needs better tabard appearances.

Fun fact the Exile’s Reach Horde tabard is the same tabard the Horde soldiers in Warsong Hold are wearing.
After all these years we finally get this tabard and we can’t transmog it
