can we just delete it? It’s a little insulting to even have it at this point. Especially with the 2nd expac in a row with now arch.
I wonder how small the percentage of players who did archaeology was to make them just drop it like they did.
There was no Archaeology in BFA?
It’s sad that I honestly don’t even know.
SL and now DF wont have it.

Yeah, that’s… Not gonna lie, that’s pretty bad. They should change the racial to at least some relevant system they continue to support.

Yes, BFA had it - you can get a little pet from it lol.
Also, judging by the number of archeology mounts I see flying around - more people were doing it that people seem to realize.

Their position is they need to revamp it. But it’s secondary, and mark my words, when they do revamp it there will be 100s of posts saying they loved Archeology.

WoWhead puts Kultiran and Zandalari archeology achievements at 7% each, with pristine at 2% and 1% respectively). Alas, I cannot vouch for whether or not those numbers have any real meaning.
It’s really quite good if you’re on an Archaeology binge.
There was somehow more Archaeology content in Legion then there was meaningful content in BFA and Shadowlands.

It gets even worse when you think about it. The intro to Dwarves in Vanilla is about them switching from Mining to Archaeology for the economy of Ironforge.
Cataclysm brought an armistice to prevent a civil war. So either they started a new enterprise and didn’t tell anyone or they’ve gone into bankruptcy.

How is that similar though? Every expansion so far has had levelling and beasts.
Archaeology is just straight up not included after bfa
I dont think thats the case. Look at how few players do mythic raiding…I think its a matter of seeing where they can cut the budget further with every expac.

They removed first aid, granted most classes dont have a use for it anymore…but mages, hunters and rogues sure can make use of it.

More and more re-used assests, re-used mounts, re-used armors sets, re-used skills and cutting everything they can that wont result in a mass exodus… Thats where we are at now and Im sure it will only get worse.
