First of all i’m fine with layers being in the game in general though i think it is problematic for resource farming…
But what is currently pissing me off is that I am in a group to get my friend’s seal of ascension in dustwallow, and even though we’re in the same group trying to do a group quest we’re on different layers.
I don’t care if raids are on separate layers i have never given a damn about world bosses, but a 4 man group trying to do a group quest should never be put on separate layers. This is stupid.
Are you sure you are actually in a group with these people? Guild chat and Discord don’t count.
Joining groups is how people swap layers. I’ve never experienced being in the same group with someone and not been on the same layer. There’s always the possibility it’s a bug.

Yes I’m @#_& sure I was in a group with them and could even see their icon on the minimap. But they did not change layers and we could not interact (trade, heal, buff) with each other.
You would think so wouldn’t you.
But how often have you used your realms layering service and nothing happens?
Theres a cooldown on layer swapping, so one of you had already swapped enough that the cd was pretty long
I wish layer swapping didn’t happen seemingly at random when I’m out of town.
Love when I’m running up to a node and it vanishes before my eyes and all the mobs around me are suddenly back and beating my @ss.
