2pm on a Tuesday 6 hour wait time one Whitemane. Guess I could play on a server with none of my friends or just wait to play in a month.
Ive been waiting 3 hours to play, im at 7k out of 18k.
Dang its crazy, Iâm to the point of just never playing at all.

I donât want to pay for something I canât play. So, is Blizzard going to add days to our subs OR if I choose to go re-roll on a server with a manageable queue (say 30 minutes to an hour) can we get free character transfers once the initial rush dies down. At this point Blizzard is charging money for a service that they cannot provideâŚ

In my day blizzard knew what the players wanted, its clear as day we want to play with as many other people as possible.

That is the thing, I want to play. I donât want to play on a low pop server where I have no friends. I think most of the people who are in Q are in Q because their friends are playing on that server. If blizzard comes out and says we will give you free character xfers I would start a character on a low pop server and transfer to their server when it calms down. But as for now I might as well not waste my time in a 6 hour Q. Wait a week see where Qâs are if they suck still I will just wait for my token to run out and uninstall all of bnet and blizzard services.

No, they did it in Vanilla WoW. You must be fairly new.

I hear ya buddy, I woke up at 3pm to jump into queue thinking it wouldnât be âgetting badâ till after 3. Kinda playing that game where âok, I can wake up at 11am and jump in queue, but if itâs only 90 minutes by the time 2 hours passes it will have logged me out.â
Well, itâs been 4 1/2 hours and Iâm still 3600 in line, started around 12,500.
Noon tomorrow it is.
Iâve been in queue for 6 hours now, and am currently sitting at 1900 after starting around 6000. It looks like roughly 700 players logout per hour. At this rate, I wonât be playing until 7:30, and you wonât be playing until 9:30.
Iâve seen them do free server transfers, but I thought they were always from high pop servers, not the other way around.
they should not have done name reservations. would have been easier to convince people to switch servers.

Down the road it will be needed⌠Right now just to GTFO to play probably be best to low pop.
But why would they want people to leave low pop servers to join high pop ones?
Wouldnât they prefer people to leave high pop to join low pop?
Itâs ok I have screen shots showing 15,000-13,000 + place in queue and 500-300 minutes for two days so I have you beat.

Yeah if a server was super low pop in classic->wotlk you could get a free character migration to a âhigherâ pop server

New servers are most likelly populated by people who will stop playing very soon.
As someone who will be here in a couple of years, I donât want my server to be a complete ghost town.

Started on Archimonde. When free trasfers were offered, whole guild went to Eldreâthalas. Then we migrated again to Yosondre, because Eldreâthalas started to feel empty
