In Character
A former Clan once known for their blacksmiths and open arms to all within Khaz Modan, the Snowholdt Clan like so many others that fell into obscurity after the War of the Three Hammers. But now with the belief that the ruling Council of the Three Hammers and Dwarven Senate focus their attention on bickering or Alliance affairs, the name Snowholdt has come into prominence once more as the Snowholdt Company under the leadership of Thane Thurin Snowholdt. Now they have come together in the spirit of traditional Dwarven beliefs while focused on protecting their kin from threats natural and external across the lands of all Three Clans. Those in the Company also have chosen in their paths to serve in other ways, some chose to explore either by safeguarding Dwarven relics or retrieving them from thieving hands, providing medical services through first aid or the Light, and of course producing the finest-crafted items and brewed goods that can be found at markets.
We say let our leaders bicker and allow us to do what we do best. We will be the inspiring forge and protective hammer that is needed And as of days old with open arms we welcome all of our fellow Dwarves and even Gnomes who hold interest in Dwarven affairs.
Who We Are
Snowholdt Company is an 18+, heavy roleplaying guild focused on offering our members a unique storytelling environment centered on Dwarven RP with elements of adventure, combat, and more. This will include weekly events, open-world stories, and participating and hosting community events as well. Snowholdt Company encourages our members to choose from a variety of roles/walks of life as they progress through their journey with us, writing their own story and experiencing not only the exciting parts of RP such as combat or adventure but the everyday slice of life as well. We are here to tell the story of each character and to help you grow within the world we are simply building for each of you.
Who are we recruiting?
First and most importantly all members must be 18 years of age and older. We have a non-discrimination policy and welcome LGBTQ+ community members as well. In terms of RP, it is our policy to accept Dwarves and Gnomes only within our guild at this time. Due to the nature of wanting to interact with the Alliance and even Horde as a whole with our RP, we do offer a role of Ally within our Discord community for those wishing to work with us on story campaigns when the opportunity arises or who want to come and interact at our community events.
What kind of creativity will we offer?
Creativity which drives personal character development and world-building is one of the fundamentals upon which the clan is formed. While the leadership team will always be working on putting together story arcs for all to participate in through various means and methods we also highly encourage our members to come to us with their own story ideas that can be utilized. In fact, as part of our promotion path, we actively encourage for higher ranks that our members become DM’s in the guild and we are more than happy to teach those who would love to learn how to DM as well.
When it comes to actual events it will be up to the discretion of each DM as to whether or not they wish to use our unique D20 system inspired by Conquest Simplified or just allow players to do emote reactions/interactions throughout the event. And every action will have a reaction or consequence as well. Whether it bodes positive or negative for the individual, group, or Company as a whole will not be known until it occurs. But this also means that opportunity can await around every corner or new interaction as well.
