Hello, I currently bought a custom built Snowblind Pro computer through Ibuypower. I’m having trouble getting the side panel to work like it’s supposed to. I was reading online and they said that there is a button located at the back of the tower that activates the LED’s within the tower, however I’m not seeing any turning on when I activate the button. Did anybody else seem to have this problem?
Also my graphics card has 3 display ports and 1 HDMI, however when I try to connect both my monitors through the display ports I don’t see two screens. But when I connect one through display port and one through HDMI they both appear. Is it possible to run them both through display port?
Assuming your side panel lcd screen is connected to the gpu?
You should have 3 displays. 2x of your monitors and 1 for the side panel.
When you have all 3 connected, on the desktop rightclick and click on Display Settings. There should be a setting to extend desktop to all display.
What gpu are you using? Was it the 2070super?
I plugged in my monitors through display ports and my side panel through HDMI. I’m still not seeing anything on the side panel. I checked display settings and all 3 monitors are appearing though.
Yep, I have a 2070 Super.
First. Is your monitor problem resolved using display ports? The side panel should have its own little box that looks like the case is plugging into the gpu.
Is your case properly illuminated?

I was able to resolve the monitor situation, however the side panel is still not doing anything. I have the monitors plugged into the display ports and the side panel plugged into the HDMI. It’s recognizing all the monitors, however the display is not appearing on the side panel at all. When I press the button on the back that is supposed to activate that panel plus the LED lights, nothing happens. My guess is they forget to hook something up? It’s weird though because the lights on the front of the monitor work.
Something could have gotten knocked loosed when it was being shipped. Maybe use a stripe wallpaper? Maybe it’s just too dark in your case.
I would contact iBuyPower support and see if they can walk you through it. The LED around the frame of the monitor should be bright enough to at least show somethings on the monitor. I’m assuming this is what you meant by saying the lights on the front of the monitor?
I’ve been trying to get ahold of tech support with no luck. While waiting I decided to open up my tower and look around. I found the problem was that there was a connection that never got connected causing no power to the side panel. It’s fixed now though.
Also, considering that I have 2 hard drives. Should I be putting everything else besides the gaming on the secondary hard drive and using the primary for gaming purposes?
i don’t recall what your configuration was.
If its a SSD + Hard drive combo. I put the games you prefer/requires fast load time on the SSD and games that doesn’t require it othe slower drive.
If they’re both SSD, then its up to you on how you want to divide it. Just be mindful of the space.
Ok thanks Aquorius. Yep, it’s a SSD + Hard drive combo.
