Especially if we could choose the seasons!! I would have it raining everywhere my DH goes and I want an animation where he gets too confident in his double jump and slips and falls. And my gnomes would always have sunshine over them :heart_eyes:

It’s probably a good thing Org is in a desert. Can you imagine the nightmarish miasma snow would cause in that city?

but yeah, weather is one of those things that’s been neglected by the team for ages now. I think they need to not only include more weather effects, but also add some realism to them…like have the snow stick to the grass/ground and pile up in some areas…that would be awesome cuz then we can make snowmans! :snowman_with_snow:

Why not? I mean you would think Blizzard would like it to snow in this game :laughing: Or at least put a few Dairy Queens in Stormwind where we could buy blizzards lol. Butter finger blizzard FTW!

And then they could start making rare spawns that are season or weather specific, in all categories creature types to kill, hunter tames, and battle pets. Think of all the improvements to the game this could make.

Only if seasons actually obeyed both biome and season, instead of randomly appearing throughout the day like rain in this game.

There’s a battle pet (sand cat/kitten?) that spawns during dust storms in Tanaris, but that’s the only one I can think of, off-hand.

Aye, Org should get rain and wind/dust storms.

I love the idea of seasons. Id love to see the trees change, winter storms, summer winds with the npcs complaining about the heat (: autumn gold and spring flowering everywhere.

And weather, just weather. We need more of that, much more, to give the game a deeper sense of “this is a living world”.
