Sniffenseeking activity for Legendary craft possible bugged

Sniffenseeking activity possibly bugged and didn’t drop Fleeting Glowspores the last 3,4 digs for me. All online sources and friends that have done it told me they get the Fleeting Glowspore every dig after having the Legendary craft quest for Evoker, and all got the required amount after 3digs, I already done 6,7 digs. The amount of digs are limited per week. This Legendary is quite a bump in performance for my spec, this bug is hindering my Mythic raid progression.

How many did you collect before they stopped dropping?

Is your Drakthyr still an engineer? Because those glowspores are used for the engineering recipe for the legendary.

Have you tried looting Zaraleth Caverns world treasures to see if the glowspores drop from those? You should see a few glowspores from the first few treasures (not 100% but not 0% either).

(I just have to ask the dumb questions.)

I have 42/50 from first 3 digs, and the next 3,4 digs none. This is not the Glowspores that you get from gathering or treasures around zaralek cavern, it’s the ingredient for Evoker legendary, only drop from Myrrit digs.

Yes, I understand.

They are supposed to be sufficiently lootable in sniffenseeking missions, but they also do spawn in world treasures in the cavern.

Just so you know. I think either there is a legit bug in your case, or something subtle I can’t think of. But the cavern treasures are potentially a workaround if there is a real issue and Blizzard can’t resolve it quickly.

I got 0 glowspores from at least one of out five digs I completed, so it’s possible you had a bad string of RNG. As Sniperorc mentioned, I received the remaining fleeting glowspores from smelly trash piles and smelly disturbed dirt in the caverns.

I tried this and it works, thanks for the info <3

If you need any help with the rest of the quest I wrote up a lengthy guide on wowhead:
