There is something mildly entertaining about seeing “This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden” in orange text. Like the non-constructive response you received in that thread at this moment.
His response made me so mad.
I’m so tired of the rest of the CC and other forum members sweeping other people’s feelings under the rug. Like in the Veilstrider thread, someone literally saying my content isn’t as hard/important, so why shouldn’t they make the reward more accessible.
Like, do not get me wrong, I empathize with the timegating concerns, however, they’ve had 2 years to do the requirements. Stop trying to make achievements for a part of the game you don’t actively play easier just because you want them. It’d be, like I mentioned, no different than if someone said they need to leave Aotc, gladiator, ksm mounts, etc. accessible after those seasons end.
Like bruh. Stop. Talking. Down. To. Outdoor/Casual. Players.
And I’ve told them to please stop multiple times and they just keep it up. It’s ridiculous. And Blizzard encourages it by doing things like the Slime Cat fiasco.

The best comedians were alway the ones who would take teh p%$# out of themselves AND their audiance . people run screamimng these days at teh slightest thing said to them even if its actually true .
I grew up being teh fat kid - always subjetc to comments , jokes etc ( especially from my skinny brothers 
) - it was true I was fat . I joked and hit back with my own barbs at them. It is YOU that decides if your offended - and it is only you that it affects if you are . People today are so soft , whatever happened to Stick and Stones will break my bones but words can never hurt me

I think there’s a small communication issue at play. I don’t think covenant swapping was freely unlocked until 9.1.5. Even so, the Veilstrider achievement wasn’t put into the game until 4 months ago.
On top of the terrible Abom Factory RNG, we yet again have Blizzard waiting until late in an expansion to all of a sudden announce “this is going away.” What’s worse is the achievement itself wasn’t even put in the game until the final .5 patch, and Blizzard didn’t decide to tell anyone (yes, a lot of us speculated, but nothing official) it was going away until a few weeks ago.
I did see the “skill” comment. I think that was the wrong way for them go about it. FOMO just needs to go out the door entirely regardless of what people think about skill, but I doubt that’s going to happen anytime soon since Blizzard has doubled-down very hard on it in the past month. We got:
-Veilstrider removal announcement
-WotLK Classic DK starter quest mount removal announcement
-Two off-the-wall Rygelon raid achievements put into the game last-month and announced for removal
Blizzard is at fault for this and this is yet another example of them converting their bad decisions into player toxicity.

This is what I’m referring to and it’s something they sneak in every time when it comes to outdoor/LFR content. Every. Single Time.
And despite telling them it’s disrespectful and belittling - they continue to do it.
(and this isn’t targeted at one specific person, it’s a very large group of forum members including other CC members, across dozens/hundreds of threads.)
As I posted, I’d be fine if they changed it to require the “Craft every Abomination” achievement instead of the quest one - but asking for them to remove the abomination factory quest line completely is just stupid.
Wouldn’t matter - I haven’t done them all on one character. Again, this is for outdoor content players that play more than one character.
Shouldn’t be asking for an achievement not aimed at you to be nerfed so it is.
(And no, this isn’t the same as Slime Cat, that was literally stated to be for LFR until the day before it went live, completely different situation).
It’d be like if I said “AotC is too hard in heroic, can you make it be anyone who kills the boss even in LFR before the next tier?”
They’d get mad I’m asking for an achievement to get nerfed because it’s too hard, takes too long, or isn’t part of the game I actively play. Yet they see nothing wrong with doing the same.
