Smoothest melee class?

What is the smoothest melee class to play?

I enjoy always having a button to press and not having to wait a couple seconds for the next button press.

I’ve done ok with this assassination rogue but I’m wondering if there’s something even smoother?

If you want something to press at all times maybe fury warrior? It’s not overly complicated, but pretty active. Least it feels that way to me.

Fury Warrior and it’s not even close.

Stay away from feral, unholy, and all rogue specs.

Having played assassination in SoD and then hoping on this guy to mess around a bit. I can say that I prefer warrior. Both specs are fluid I think and fury is eye candy as you DPS.

Fury Warrior… if there’s nothing to press then you press Whirlwind. Costs no rage and has no CD other than GCD.

You can even continuously press whirlwind while out of combat

Fury and Windwalker have very little RNG when played properly.

I’d suggest those two, then maybe outlaw if neither of them appeal to you.

It regenerates a bit of rage if I recall correctly?

Probably fury warrior, but I really enjoy Frost DK. There is a little bit of downtime on occasion though.

Undead to get the smooth voice to go with it.

I agree. I’d even say to stay away from dk as a whole unless you plan on using blood.

Fury’s a good one. IIRC, even if you manage to have everything on cooldown and also be completely out of Rage, you get to mash Whirlwind to pass the time.

Fury warrior hands down. From animations and sounds effects, to simple combat rotation and satisfying cleave, a very solid spec. I’d play it in PvE for sure if I was into warrior aesthetic. For PvP it’s a bit less tactical than arms, but if you just want to mongo damage fury is a very nice spec I think.

I will just throw in Outlaw as a secondary. I’ve mostly never had a wait for something to press.

Aside from the always available spacebar.

That’s the current APM (actions per minute) top 10 list for Sanctum raid.

Outlaw is highest dps APM, and Sub not far behind. Assassination is near the bottom at 52 APM.

This just has to do with always having a button to press. If you’re looking for whether or not the buttons feel right to press, I haven’t played rogue in a while so I can’t say.

I do know Fury warrior feels great rotationally, and they have very little down time.

played outlaw until I got enough haste but now feels pretty smooth as assassin

Ret paladin kyrian divine toll.

Very recomended.

Final Verdict legendary animation movement i dont like but it was BIS. Wake of ashes very iconic paladin movement skill.
