Why Blizz, why would you inflict further injustice upon Smoochums by changing his model for the worse? He was perfect the way he was so of course you had to screw it up.

Just my opinion but it looks better. I’d like to see the other 2 ghost kitties updated too. And if they choose revert it, a way to buy the new skin. Then everyone can be happy.

Disagree. The new model is terrible. With those wisps of vapor rising off it, it looks like they’re suggesting that the pet smells bad, not that it’s a ghost.

Smoochums was fine before.

Hey, Devs, if you’re that bored, there really ARE things in this game that need fixing. You’re wasting time with busy, pointless work when you could making meaningful repairs and improvements.

It is particularly silly since Smoochums is still a Persian cat during the quest where he is still alive. I am hoping this is a glitch which will be reverted. Smoochums is my favorite pet and I loved his unique model.

I hate the new model for Smoochums. I have 1006 pets, and of those, Smoochums was one of my favourites with his old model.

If this change was purposeful, I really can’t see why. We have tons of cats with the old models already, and spooky ones too.

Smoochums was one of a kind. :frowning:

I cannot express how disappointed I am with Blizzard’s action. Smoochums was a ghost Persian. I have owned and lost a number of these dear friends over my life, all Persians, and Smoochums personified those little friends for me in the game. This really has hurt me far more personally than anything Blizzard has done before.

I know, its illogical. Its a game, its pixels, but that little ghost Persian was important to me. I am very sad and very disappointed.

This has to be a bug.

There’s a ton of pets with generic models that could use an update. Why go and update a loved and already unique pet.

If a smoochums model pet ends up in the store that’s going to be bad sign. It would mean they are in full micro transaction mode and are actively looking for things that players like to take them away only to charge for them.

Smoochums just looks like a reskin of any other cat* now. I miss my fat, grumpy ghost cat.

(edit - originally singled out Mr. Bigglesworth when I probably intended to say Widget the Departed but since the cats all seem to have the same model … Hey, was Widget that transparent before the patch? Don’t mind me. Squirrel brain.)
