Probably wont happen but check the P3 wowhead posts. I swear seeing like 90 different future tier sets, there may be a Smite priest one?
Ironically, the smite priest would be able to use dispersion, unlike shadow priests xD

The funny thing is, smite spec is actually decent in vanilla. Average at best dueler, but really really good in teamfights. Just youtube vanilla smite priest for those who claim it isn’t real in era. (It requires a lot of off-gear that wouldn’t even be used by shadow, so a good “smite” priest is rare. Try the video.)

Therefore smite priest is theoretically worse in SoD than it is in era at this point. It’s really aggravating watching all the other meme builds get buffed back to back to ensure they have a positive gameplay playstyle while priest is really forgotten in sod.
Sure, they gave priests a few things but what still remains:
Still no “disc” only runes.
Still no changes to lightwell
Still no changes to smite priesting…

Smite priest wasnt really a meme in Classic, tbh.
Frankly i know this is a week old but yea, dead serious the fact that Smite Priest didnt happen was a crime.
