Smite is the first damage dealing spell a priest gets, and we even get talents to make it hit harder, and then Holy Fire, but it was never finished. Blizzard can you please turn our meme spec into a fun, seasonal, power house in Phase 3 or Phase 4?

That’s not accurate. And it comes on line in phase 7 of wow classic era after every other clothie is already max geared.

Blizzard’s biggest mistake is making everything instant cast. I love good planning, positioning, and seeing my cast bar fire off in pvp and pve.
We should have gameplay built around casters actually having to stand still once in awhile to hard cast.
Okay you just wanna ignore the 3k damage smite priests on youtube then? We’re on a trajectory where casters are gonna have more spellpower than they had before at 60. They’re going to hit this power spike much earlier than a relative ‘phase 7’. They don’t need support. It’s huge range, no projectile, fast casting, unresistable and CHUNKs people. I played a priest. I know how good it is.
There will never be a reason to smite when shadow has so many damage modifiers.
With the current trajectory smite will still be a meme spec because everything is relative to viable alternatives.
